What's new

Exum will sign qualifying offer and subsequently leave

How many times has Exum been allowed to jack up 20 bricks in a game?
How many times has Exum actually run the offense?

Facts matter mate.

A lot of it is just timing. With Hayward on the team there was no need for Exum to shoot 20 times a game. DM would see his attempts cut in half if Hayward was still here.

In part because of the leash that Quin has given a #13 draft pick versus their #5 pick.

Watching DM throw up a thousand shots a game and get stuffed repeatedly at the rim and jack up 3s is great for the kid. It is teaching him to be aggressive, but not much else. It certainly is teaching him to be inefficient.....

The second reason is the FO inability to run with Exum as their guy. The signing of Hill and now friggin Rubio.

Exum has been a PINO (PG in name only). He was not allowed to run the offense nor have plays drawn up for him to initiate.

This season has sent a message to Exum. We didn't and don't believe in you like we do Mitchell (or even Rubio).

Exum will sign the QO.
What has exum done to show you that he deserves to jack up 15 shots a game??

I get this sentiment, but it is lame.

There are plenty of Aussie players. He is my favorite by a mile.

I know Americans can't spell favourite correctly and still use miles instead of kilometers

You are so weird. Exum is the worst Aussie in NBA by mile. You can cheer for Simmons, Delly, Bogut, Baynes and Ingles and you are Exum homer for some reason?

One of the stupidest threads in recent memory. **** off.

In a world without dislikes and negs...
He's the hero JFC deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark NAOS.

He had a guy jump on his shoulder. Not a basketball play or regular injury.
Bad luck

He has a habbit of taking bad spills though, so this kind of thing happens to him a lot.

Listen, I'm as big a Exum fan as anyone, but u can't just hand him the rains, without him proving he can run an offense, and other then summer league he hasn't yet proven he can do it better then what we already have on the team, and who's to say that if he was healthy, that he wouldn't be well on his way to winning the starting job, and he was trusted. He was made a starter the last half of his rookie season, however it was for his defense not his pg skills as they showed to be lacking. His second year coming off injury he clearly wasn't ready. This year he showed some encouraging improvement but of course got injured so we will never know what kind of trust Quin would've had in him or how he would've performed. I just hope he's more prepared for next season then he was for his last season

Dante has never shown a desire/confidence/ability to even get up 20 shots in a game if he had free reign to play the entire 48 minutes.

Was looking at some stuff today... it really sucks that Dante got hurt. We have excellent catch and shoot players. Donovan is around 40% from 3 on catch and shoot shots, Hood, Thabo, Ingles all 40%. Would be really nice to have a guy that could break the paint regularly like Dante could. Would open up some things.

Let him sign the qualifying offer. He has yet to show any consistency, is prone to injury, has terrible hair and probably doesn't shower a lot. Also he frightens children, he doesn't use deodorant, he never learned to read....

How many games did Dante start his rookie year when he brought zero offense to the table? This myth that Dante hasn't been given a shot is such straight bollocks, man. To hell with any homer who says otherwise.

Was he the actual point guard?
We know for a fact that no offense was drawn up to run through him.
He deferred out of respect and also cause he knew he would be yanked if he took a misstep.

Context is everything.
And to hell with you and all those that love your Exum hating contempt.

Ya, they should've given some scrub the keys to the team. They should've run the offense thru his 5 ppg ***, and then insisted he chuck 20 shots he isn't interested in taking. **** Hayward and Gobert. The team, no, our lives, must revolve solely around your homeboi scrub.
