Hack has a much more balanced team through and through.

When your biggest weakness in the starting line-up is Blake Griffin and your back-up PG is Derrick rose, you know you've got a pretty good team.

What? Lebron? The guy that can shut down Derrick Rose (who is quicker than both of those players) at the drop of a hat? I must be misunderstanding you.

Has Lebron ever guarded a guy like Rose for an entire game? If I'm not mistaken, he only does it in key situations. He could get tired from doing it the entire game.

And the fact that his 3 backup perimeter players can't shoot and that 2 of them are kind of redundant.

Hack has the most dominant player in Shaq, and has Wade and Durant. The only thing that is keeping this from being a blow-out is that he has Blake Griffin as his starting PF. Would be a good backup in this game, but isn't really a great compliment to the team.

Hack.

Shaq and Gilmore dominate their match-ups inside. Also believe Durant > VC. Spycam has a definite advantage with Robinson over Griffin. But LBJ is out of position. It's a real reach to put him at PG. I know he's great, but I just don't see him staying with Payton or Wade. I guess Allen brings the ball up the court for Team Spycam and then hands it over to LeBron. Would be an interesting locker room with AI and VC, though. And if AK is coming off the bench, I think it only fair to consider the numbers he put up (or didn't, as it were) in that same role with Utah.

I like Gilmore but I am not sure many people are familiar with him. Plus I like the look and feel of a traditional power forward. I don't know how two centers next to each other works out. I Could put Ben Wallace in there too I suppose. I guess people will just have to imagine I would start Blake but not play him starter minutes.
I could have a nice rotation of those three depending in what is happening in the game. I have the option to use my guys in different ways. I'm actually kind of surprised nobody likes Blake either.

Let's put it this way. Him and VC I guess are a wash since me and spycam apparently made the same mistake. Only my guy is bigger and rebounds better.

Why do people still say Tony Parker can't shoot?

Because most people are homers. They hear something about a player and then for them that label follows that player the rest of their career. Like the Hayward run down block and the comment of "That will be his first and last of his career." Pure ignorance.

It looks like Hack has this. I'll just go ahead and give him my rep right now.

Oh ****, the poll closes tomorrow! I thought it was closing in a couple of hours. Hack, I demand you give me the rep back!

I think that 38 votes might be the high for any round in any match up. I wonder how many more votes will be cast.

Haha. I seen that and was like wtf.

Thanks though. I can try to pay you back, but it will have to be in installments. All I can afford right now is 2 points per 2-3 days.

I don't recall Hayward shutting down Parker in the playoffs this year.

Not sure were I said "shut down" in that sentence.

The fact remains he played worse in Games 3 and 4 than he did in 1 and 2. (3 and 4 being the ones guarded by Hayward).

Parker has a great midrange? Uh, it's an OK midrange game. He can be pretty good sometimes at it, but far from great. Teams try to make him shoot the jumper.

My recollections are that Hayward had a good game 1, and wilted horribly the rest of the series. Granted, that is based more on his offense than his defense, but did he even play that much in the last 2 games? I thought that other than Hayward's first game, the only Jazz players that were even respectable in the series were Favors and Harris.

Parker, on the other hand, was the leading scorer in the series, on 50% shooting, so even if Hayward slowed him down, he made up for it on other matchups.
He's a career 49% shooter. That is great for a point guard.
