Ever hear of a guy named Al Jefferson? That was fun.
First off, I think both these players are better than they're being given credit for here, or at least they have some decent potential to be pretty good. However, Favors is a very good 2-way player, which a lot of people seem to take for granted nowadays. If he wasn't injured so much last year, he wouldn't have Jazz fans like you suggesting we trade him for Okafor, which is a really stupid ****ing idea, BTW. I'll admit, his offensive ability is a thing of beauty. Man, if he could become even a half-way decent defensive player, he'd be in great demand in this league. However, there is a very good reason why LA drafted Russell over him, and it has nothing to do with believing in Russell as a future stud. It has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that the league has gotten to the point where everyone realizes you can't build a team around big men with weak defense. In order to contend in this league, you need strong D from your PF, and more importantly, your center. That's why Rudy and Faves are the foundation of what Utah is building, even though a lot of fans want to believe Lyles somehow makes Faves expendable. Lyles is a nice 3rd big as a complimentary player to those two, but moving Favors would be a mistake, whether it's Okafor or Kevin Love.
Regardless of the fact that Favors is a better all-around player than either of these guy, please explain how either one fits with Rudy. They don't. If we didn't have Rudy, I would definitely be interested in Noel, but I can't imagine a situation where I'd be interested in Okafor, simply because you just can't survive in the league today with that kind of defense from that position.
