Sometimes players need to know that their coach has their back. What kind of message is sent when everyone in the arena is begging for a challenge but you refuse to support your team?
That challenges are a waste of a timeout in most cases? I think most fans understand it.

I’m old enough to remember Sloan racking up techs to wake his team up. Sure we have up free throws but the emotions released usually helped the team. I think this team could use more emotion. It needs a coach to get fired up.

We're talking about challenges, not techs. Losing a challenge doesn't give a momentum boost - the most it does is gets the players pissed at the officiating. And as we've witnessed PLENTY this season, the team tends to mentally check out when they get upset at the officiating. They don't use it as a rallying point, they stop getting back on defense to complain to the refs.

I thought Bogey was shooting the 3 instead of waiting for the foul and panicked but it's nice to finally enjoy a W.

I cant tell how much of Dok's issue are conditioning, care level, or just ability.

Sometimes I think he just doesnt like basketball.

But then he dives on the floor for a loose basketball. Not many dudes his size who will do that.

I think he's used to guarding the paint. He's not used to challenging guys and then recovering. Just not a multiple-action player yet.

Say what you want, scrubs vs scrubs, yada, yada, all I know is that they played great and we beat em with guys that been seeing nothin but G League minutes! And 4 against 5, this game was huge! Very satisfying win as far as I’m concerned.
