How did he die?
Heart attack?
I think I want Cunning Linguist to write my eulogy. Better yet, he can conduct funeral services:
Dearly Beloved (or rather), "Hey Everyone, Joseph is dead. Let's get the shoveling done so everyone can go home. Discuss his life if you want, but I'm outta here."
As for Flip, I always thought of him as a very good coach. Not elite, but far above average. IINM, he coached teams to four conference finals, but never won. He'll be missed in Minnesota, having coached during the glory years of Garnett and rebuilding the team post-Love. The TWolves have a bright future and it's been Flip laying the foundation.
You're making an awful lot of assumptions here.Sounds like his Drs f'd up. He'd have still been alive without any treatment. He got chemo, which made him so weak that he got pneumonia. Then they did the stem cell treatment, and that didn't work, so they gave him chemo again, just last week -- at least that's what I read on the Wolves Real GM forum. Sad that the cancer Drs are so brainwashed that they won't consider other alternatives.
