Admit it Jones, you love Korkmaz as a prospect and he's in your top 7.

Got it, didnt read all the way through.
Why would we draft Poetl, we already have Rudy and Withey is a respectable back up C. We need someone who can defend on the wing and hit 3's, maybe be a hidden Gem and be the next Kawhi, Jimmy, or Klay.

How I feel as wellI wouldn't draft him, but I do really like his game.
His most translatable skill is as a one-on-one defender, he can guard SG's and SF's already. Thats' why I've been comparing him to Sefolosha for a year now.. Tim has quick enough feet where you could put him on a PG (Like how Sefolosha used to guard CP3) if needed.. IMO they could've used him vs Deron in that first half, he'd have done a markedly better job than anyone the Jazz threw at him
Also he'll be very dangerous in the open court, that'll translate smoothly.. He's a legit NBA athlete, I'd say a few notches above average..
Fournier is a RFA. He will be nearly impossible to get unless you want to max him, which would be a mistake.I think that can be had through free agency easier. Fournier and batum fit that mold.

If his standing reach really is 9'5½" as he measured recently in the Canadian Biosteel All-star game, he's going to be a lottery pick IMO.
Bigger Andray Blatche with a muuch better head on his shoulders.
Well he might not be far off.. that the thing.. and the taller his standing reach is, helps alleviate some of the concerns about his narrow frame, especially as it pertains to the Jazz roster(and playing next to Lyles), Thon could function as almost a Porzingis sized player...
Oshae Brissett measured 6'9" IIRC which is tall, but he could've grown.. so possibly.. Justin Jackson measured ¾" taller in shoes there then he did at the hoops summit last week, but his wingspan and standing reach were identical..

0:38-1:01 does that look like someone almost as big as Gobert??
If we maxed founier while having hood, Burks, and hayward already on the roster, I might kill myselfFournier is a RFA. He will be nearly impossible to get unless you want to max him, which would be a mistake.
Batum is a bad fit.

If those measurements are true, when he really fills out to like 245 he's gonna look big standing next to Karl Towns.. .. This is someone the Jazz might want to keep around, he might be a good matchup vs GS and teams that like to play small too.. He seamlessly fits next to Gobert and Favors.. and If he's got a 9'5" standing reach and puts on some weight Lyles, it also means (as I previously suspected) that he's a much better prospect than Frank Kaminsky.
He'd showcase well in Utah IMO, like a giant Detlef Schrempf(-passing, +shotblocking). he'd look as agile as a ballerina playing on the same court as Gobert..
These measurements could affect my thoughts on Thon vs Skal.. Can't wait to hear the noise from workouts..
His brother Matur is a legit 6'10 and Thon towers over him..
Thon is the greastest home run/strike out prospect in this draft.
He is the kind of pick that gets gms fired. He will not be ready year 1 and ic a team drafts him to play right away then that team will be in the lottery next year too.
He may not even be ready much year 2. That is why i think he would be a good fit for the jazz. They could develop him slowly.
