Jazz are gonna dip in the KU well again and pick Skal.
This is why i support the jazz drafting a big and filling the wing in free agency.Same was said about Giannis. Actually, I think Thon is a riskier prospect than Giannis. His feel and his hands aren't very good. He'll be a good defensive player though.
12th pick.
STFU, top 1 pick
Plus we'd have multiple 1sts in next year's killer draft.
If it makes you feel any better, we currently are on pace to have three first rounders in that 2017 draft.

Getthing Thon would allow Withey to be traded for some wing help. That 9'5.5" reach is high end even for a center. It's early but Thon and Marquese Chriss intrigue me the most as our pick.
I've made my decision.....
BRICE JOHNSON
With Favors, Gobert, Lyles and Withey already proven as solid players.... do we take another Big?
No right?
I don't think the Jazz would draft him if they thought he needed 2 years to contribute. I think they'll look for a player capable of being 'the next man up'
IMO they could get away with giving him some bench minutes next year and gradually increase them if he plays well, sorta like Lyles this year.
I think he'd probably pick up fouls at a pretty high rate trying to play the 5 though, but with Withey/Gobert/Favors they wont need much from him unless an injury occurs.
Will be very interesting to see how he shoots for teams in workouts..
Lyle's did help towards the end of the season but he hurt us being on the court early a lot. That's what rookies do. Overall Lyle's this season hurt the team in the court. In the long run its worth it, especially for young teams. It's a catch 22 to give young rookies playing time.Lyles helped win a few games this year..just saying I could see Thon doing that.. Especially if the bigs get hit with injuries like this season..
What do you think of Ivan Rabb?? they're similar and he's much closer to the Jazz range.
