I won't lie. He doesn't look great on boxscores, but a lot of it was him not getting a lot of chances, I hated seeing him get yanked out of games on the first mistake he made. His stats per 40 are not horrible. He's at 17/8 with 4.2 blocks and above average TS%(54%), especially for a player that shot so many mid-range jumpers(2/3 of his shots were mid-rangers and he shot them exceptionally well - 45%). He shot 52% from the field with 66% of his shots coming from mid-range(!!!!). All that with horrible strength and underdeveloped body.

I know I won't be able to sell him to a lot of people, but I still love him as a prospect.

54% TS% isn't above average. In the NBA, 54.0% was our TS% which ranked us 16th in the league. That's all Skai could manage in college. As a big. That's pretty bad.

Isn't the average TS in the league about 53%? Did it move up this year? Interesting... I still wouldn't say it's bad all things considered.
 
Well, Skal has been quietly climbing up the draft boards lately. Some mock drafts have him in the 8-11 range now so I must ask, what are the chances of the Jazz drafting another Kentucky freshmen? He could possibly end up like Anthony Davis if given the time. He already has a good defensive skill, slightly above average and yes, still very raw when it comes to offense.

I still like Chriss, Skal and Thon in no order. They all have very good potential.

He can't be Anthony Davis. I don't think he can even be Nerlens Noel.

I really don't think he falls past 20-23. Seriously.

His versatility would be lethal against bench units and I believe that his shot will come along just fine. By year 3 in the NBA, watch out.

I know this is not popular around here but I'd take him over the demigod Richardson.
 
Prince has more length, defense, and shooting. He doesn't have the playmaking Bembry has, but I'd rather have what Prince brings.

I can respect that. I'd rather have the playmaking off the bench than what Price brings. Just my opinion.
