What's new

Following potential 2012 draftees

The sleepers have woken up and moving up. Therefore, I'll leave Machado, Lillard, and a couple others out of the mix. With these names (below), keep in mind that I don't even really like the best PG's in the class .. so understand I'm saying these are 2nd round flyers.

For 2nd rounders I like Aaron Craft (OSU), Jordan Taylor (Wisc), Shabazz Napier (UConn), Tyshawn Taylor (KU), and someone else but for the life of me I can't figure out who I'm thinking of ..

Craft is a sophmore.

I'm way confused. I thought the question that was asked was what "PGs" are possible 2nd round sleepers. Judging by the replies to my answer, I'm thinking the question must have actually been, "what possible sleepers, regardless of position, are there in the 2nd round, that are not sophomores." lol

No you had it right:cool:

Pkm add bj young and tu holloway to the possible sleepers. The second round is also a good place to draft a euro pg and hope he is the next dragic or Calderon. See Tomas satoransky a 6-7 pg/sg might be worth the pick.

Yep. I didn't have Young on my list, but the other two, yes.

Oh and taking a flyer on doron lamb hoping he could be a combo guard.

Doron plays a smart game, nice passer, nice handles, very high bb IQ (highest on the UK team), and is a lights out shooter. He could transition quite easily, imo.

How do you post a gif? Every time I try it ends up as a still pic.

I wish I could help but I am techniqualy inept. (and spelling)

I'll try it ...

Here's a great lob from Doron Lamb to Darius Miller;

In action today; (some killer games)

Teague, DLamb, MKG, TJones, Davis, DMiller
vs.
John Jenkins, Jeffrey Taylor, Festus Ezeli

JLamb, Shabazz Napier, Drummond (vs. Syracuse)

TRobinson, Tyshawn Taylor (vs. Missouri)

Marshall, Barnes, Henson, Zeller (vs. Virginia)

Beal, Young (vs. Georgia)

QMiller, PJones (vs. Oklahoma)

Moser (vs. Air Force)

Kabongo (vs. Texas Tech)

Bost, Hood, Moultrie (vs. Alabama)

OT: Last night Shabazz Muhammed led his team to a state championship .. in style. As a senior for Bishop Gorman HS, 'Bazz has won 3 state titles and last nights championship game was a 45pt blowout. 'Bazz scored 30 in the first half and ended the game on 15 of 17 shooting (36pts) with vicious dunks and smooth outside shooting. He's a Killer.

I'm still liking Miller and Lillard where the Jazz will likely draft. The Jazz need some confident, dynamic perimeter players who can shoot the ****ing ball, and these two fit the bill.

We're certainly on the same page there. I want two dynamic perimeter players with swagger, takeover mentality, and can put the ball in the ****ing basket.

Bazz is such a stud. He's gonna be a real good one. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's almost too bad we can't see what Cal would do with him. Damn you PKM for making me slightly like Kentucky.

Then we should be drafting Austin Rivers imo. Unless you're talking more 2/3's.

IMO, if Rivers is there, we have to draft him. He has the It factor.

Rivers 11/17 from the FT line. Leaving the door open several times in OT. Clutch? lol.

He was 8/11 heading into OT. Kid played 41 minutes, he was absolutely exhausted, and you could tell on his last couple FT attempts. I honestly don't have a problem with that...fatigue happens. Virginia Tech plays very physical and it's extremely difficult for a true freshman to play 41 minutes, c'mon man.

Also for those of you with a problem with Rivers assists numbers...Duke just doesn't typically ever have a guy with high assist numbers. Even Kyrie Irving, an elite PG only averaged a little over 4 APG at Duke, the leading guy this year (Seth Curry) is averaging 2.5 APG...it's not the players, it's the system.
