Following potential 2012 draftees

I've gone to bat for Quincy Miller quite a bit, but I'm as wary as anyone is about the guy. The thing that gives me hope is that Baylor as a program is a joke (get everything and everywhere based on their talent/players) and that Quincy Miller is very young, is coming off of an injury that not that long ago you could not recover from entirely, and I CAN see him growing a lot as a human.

But if he doesn't grow, he's out of the league so fast it will make everyone's head spin.

He can't be any worse than CJ.

Reading the Draftexpress twitter feed, he is giving a lot of love to Kim English. He even gave him a lot of love at the Portsmith Invitation. Maybe we are looking at the next Wes Matthews? I loved his game this year for Missouri.

Yes.
Since I haven't watched enough college BB the past couple of years, I can only rep these guys that have been around a little longer. I like this guy.

and to those that will mention our logjam at the 2:
The best way to use a logjam is a la Popovich, i.e. rotate them in and out of the game faster, use them in high energy defensive scenarios (trapping, or anything else to disrupt the offense at it's initial point of attack).
I'd have no problem with the Jazz getting BOTH JJenkins and English.

I think when you draft in the 2nd round, you just go for the person you think will actually make it in the NBA. You don't draft based on need or position.

Jenkins, yes. English, mid to late lottery for me. Jenkins is superior to English in every category, as far as I'm concerned.

English lacks the length, explosiveness, and ball-handling to be much of a factor in the NBA. I don't hate the guy, but in the 4 years I've seen him play I've never been all that impressed (including this year even though he was better this year, than in the past, by a mile).

Yes. Work ethic, athleticism, shot .. you need a player that has two things, imo .. work ethic and one solid go-to bb attribute (shot, rebounding, defense, whatever).

Yeah, I would go Jenkins also, but he is going to be a late first to early 2nd guy. English is probably a mid to late 2nd, possibly even undrafted. He has solid length (6'7 wingspan) and is a smart offensive player who can shoot lights out from most spots on the court and was never the main person on his college team, so he knows how to play a support role.

Agree with all of that.

Renardo Sidney measured 304 pounds with 22.35% body fat percentage, by far the most here. Actually looks like he's slimmed down

Christ, so much wasted talent.

Did the numbers and that weight (given that he is 6'10) makes him technically obese.

It is a shame. He had off the charts upside when in high school. True example of allowing an entourage to blow your head up too fast (ego). They should all feel like total ****.

Solid group of big men here. Drew Gordon's mid-range jumper looking good. Renardo Sidney working the inhaler on the sidelines

I'm pumped for tweets making fun of how fat he is in the next hour.

Cyrone and fat go together like peanut butter and jelly.

It seems like he can't get away from it. Most of his avatars have had fat people. He wants to start a restaurant dedicated to the monstrosity known as ghetto booty and now he is taken my Sidney and his jelly rolls.

EDIT: Stupid auto predict.

Renardo Sidney not participating in 5 on 5 scrimmage.

Looks like Sidney is going undrafted.

Why would he and his agent decide to go to a combine that features 5 on 5 scrimmages if A.) aren't in shape at all and B.) not going to play 5 on 5?
