UK is lucky Barnes got 3 fouls early. He was going off from deep.
Wow, what a dumb play for the last possession. Probably the most anti-climatic ending to an otherwise great game. Teague chokes a 1 and 1 FT, then Carolina post up Zeller who has been getting owned in the paint most of the 2nd half?
Drives to the basket. He had a good rebounding game and attacked the basket nicely.

He had 2 jump shots. One was a lucky bank shot from nearly straight on, inside the 3pt line. The other was a nice looking shot off a back screen.
He can do that stuff over the phone, in his hotel room, and on the plane.

Watching one of our future players (I hope 
He drew 3 fouls on Barnes in the first half. Rebounded like a monster, showed what a warrior he is. Seeing Teague, K-G, and Davis play like this only 7 games into their collegiate careers is impressive. Their strides of improvement are great to see. I thought Barnes was a highlight reel from 3, however, he was outscored, rebounded (by 9), and out assisted by K-G. Barnes couldn't stay in front of Gillie and Gillie held Barnes to 0 for 6 inside 20'. That's not homerism, just facts.
The matchups (as discussed earlier, but now post-game);
PG - Winner = Marshall.
SG - Calling it EVEN. Lamb had the better stats, but the combination of Strickland, Bullock, and Hairston held their own from the perimeter.
SF - Going with Gillie. Barnes hit big 3's and it ends there. K-G did everything.
PF - Jones by a small margin. Better stats across the board sans 1 fewer rebound.
C - Slight edge to Zeller.

Made a few nice passes and just didn't screw up or get burned. 8pts, 2rbs, 8asts, 3to's. Hit 2 3's (wide open, but still). He didn't look like any kind of a can't miss prospect, but if you asked me who I'd rather have running PG for UK this year .. it's Marshall. Teague isn't even the best PG on our team (DLamb).
