Following potential 2012 draftees

Austin Rivers would make a great off the bench scoring guard. He is nasty, nasty off the dribble. He just needs to improve his catch and shoot.

Perry Jones was a monster in his return. 27 points 6 rebounds on 10/14 shooting and 7/9 from the line. Not seeing Quincy Miller in the box score though. Anyone know why that is?

Saw him on the bench in street clothes. Probably a minor injury or maybe a one game suspension.

Miller apparently rolled an ankle in practice over the weekend. He'll play next game. Yes, Perry Jones had his act together. Lots of lay-ups and dunks in the open floor. Good mobility. Decent touch from mid-range. He's a guy with enormous potential, but plays a bit soft. I don't want to label him, but he could be an Andray Blatche. Lets see if he gets his share of rebounds and if he can play in the post. It'll be interesting to see Miller and Jones III on the floor together.

Sullinger will be way over-drafted. I've said too many times to count, he has neither the size to play center, nor the shot/athleticism to play PF. Nice role player or bust.

If anyone wants me to explain again (it's been more than a few months) what I think of Kanter, just ask.

Yes, PJones is loaded with potential but very soft .. that is all.

Tell me the story about Kanter again :)

Sullinger has 2 (two) blocks on the year (year). Not an all-telling stat, for sure, but a worrisome one, no?

Sullinger is not going to be a bust, he will be a nice role player. I’d say he's a more skilled DeJuan Blair on the offensive end. Like Blair, Sullinger makes up for the fact that he plays below the rim by being extremely physical, having a nose for the ball on rebounds, and knowing how to use angles to score.

Still I believe the best player on this team is Buford. William Buford is an electrifying player with a super smooth jumpshot. He’s particularly adept at the outside and mid-range jump shot.

"The Ohio State" is the best team in America for the second straight year but at the end of the season, once again, they will not be cutting down the net.

Wow. Nice logic on all fronts.

A "more skilled Dejuan Blair" doesn't sound like a top-7 pick in the draft. That's a bit like saying a "more in-shape Ike Diogu." He doesn't play as big as he should and he just isn't that quick or athletic. He has a hard time getting over people or around people.

Then why is he considered a potential top 5 pick in a "loaded" draft by most reputable sites? The guy is skilled, is strong, rebounds, and is developing perimeter skills.

Sullinger will be fine in the NBA...idk if he will be prolific, but I'd say Glen Davis is worst case scenario.

He probably won't go top-5 by the time of the actual draft. He's a good college player and a decent prospect. A big question is whether he's gotten bigger than 6'8". He doesn't have a lot of lift and needs as much height as he can get if he's going to score and rebound well at the next level. Otherwise, he's not likely to be a go-to player in the pros.
