Following potential 2012 draftees

So tomorrow there are going to be some high school games on ESPNU. Two of the big names that will be playing are Shabazz Muhammad and Jabari Parker. I am not sure who else to look for beyond those two but I thought that some of you would like to know about this.

You know what time either of them play?

I watched the washington game today and I think we should add Terrance Ross to the list. Granted it was only 1 game but he took over when his team needed it

He's on the radar, for sure, I just view him more as an NBA SG vs. SF.

Thanks, by the way, I had Shabazz on my schedule but missed that Jabari was playing as well. Good stuff .. and rep-ed.

Thanks. Also, I know that you would like to know this but Mater Dei plays Christ the King following Jabari's game. I don't know who I should look for on either team but it seems like Mater Dei always has someone with potential.

A Good read by Chad Ford about the PG's of the 2012 draft - https://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog/_/name/nba_draft

Some interesting points:

1. UNC's Kendall Marshall might be the best pure passer in college hoops, but his lack of a jump shot and elite athleticism also give scouts pause.

2. Two blue-chip recruits, Kentucky's Marquis Teague and Texas' Myck Kabongo, were supposed to be potential lottery picks, but both players have struggled to run their teams as freshmen. Teague, especially, has scared off some scouts who are now openly questioning whether he really has a good feel for the game.

3. The only point guard on our board who even remotely looks like a sure thing for the first round is Washington's Tony Wroten. And he's not a lock.

4. Weber State combo guard Damian Lillard is rising up the boards fast, but teams still are struggling to get their arms around him.

Agree with all of that.

Better pro prospect is Jabari IMO. He just everything incredibly well. Has a beautiful jump shot, plays good defense, can handle the ball, I just like him. Obviously Shabazz is a stud too, but Jabari is the better pro prospect to me.

In regards to our draft, the more and more I think about it, the more I see us drafting Austin Rivers to play PG/SG for us, more of a PG though. I'm not sure how I feel about that....

Jazz simply must draft a PG somehow in 2012. My guys are Lillard, Nedovic, and the dude on Wisconsin who's name I can't remember and am too lazy to look up.

Kendall Marshall scares the crap out of me. He has that 'it' it seems, but... does he TRULY? Does that translate to this level? Because besides that and passing, he doesn't do jack **** out there. If you can draft him and you don't love anyone else where you're drafting, can you pass him up?

What a **** draft for PGs.

K-G also scares the crap out of me. I have seriously had enough of wings that can't spread a defense but he brings so much else to the table.

Jordan Taylor is from Wisconsin. I really don't like Marshall as a pro prospect, I wouldn't be very happy if we drafted him. I think the guy I'm highest on is Damon Lillard. I don't know anything about Nedovic...details on him?

Jordan Taylor is built like a tank but it is hard to gage anyone coming out of Wisconsin. He could easily be a Derek fisher type of player built the same decent shooter great defender.
