You just take him and play him in the backcourt. Stretch the defense .. keep the d guessing .. doesn't have to become an elite floor general.
This. That's what Utah and every good team neads - a guard who has the onions to make those types of shots.That's what I've been preachin about Rivers .. ice water and has 'it.'
Yeah, but an elite (or a floor general for that matter, doesn't have to be "elite") floor general really elevates everyone else's game. My question is, does Rivers elevate his teammate's game? Not saying I would be opposed to drafting him, because I wouldn't. Just not sure if he can be an effective PG with the way he likes to play.
This game probably puts Rivers clearly above Wroten, just for clutchness.
Rivers reminds me a lot of Ben Gordon.
