Following potential 2013 draftees

Whaaatt........... haven't really seen him play, but isn't he similar to Marshall from last year?

They both averaged crazy assist numbers at major programs, yes. And yeah, they both struggle with their outside shot. Some of the major differences are that MCW is 6'6, averaging 5 RPG and 3 SPG, and is more athletic. I'd also say he has more potential as a scorer.

Ben Mclemore #1? Aran Smith likes to make bold predictions like that during the year, probably for the attention, but always reverts to a more predictable mock close to draft. Think he had Jeremy Lamb at #1 or 2 this time last year. Ben is having a fantastic year though, and he might have grown an inch since he was last measured (2010). The elevation and accuracy of his jump shot do make you salivate a little.

I never liked Jeremy Lamb, Terrence Ross, and others of this ilk .. I do like Ben though .. but 1 is obviously too high. Top 5 is not ridiculous.

When did you start liking Ben Mclemore? You seemed to be against him so far this season.

Not against him. I never promoted him or anything and, tbh, he's exceeding anything I thought he would do ..

I've watched him since his junior year in HS and have had more of a curiosity (than a certainty) of how he'd turn out.

I haven't watched much cball at all and have only watched BM's highlights online and seen his numbers and he looks to have the potential of an It player. Insane athleticism. Not an elite It player but a Westbrook type maybe.

I'm just tuning in to Marcus Smart. That is a tough-lookin dude with a pretty complete game. He's not super quick, and his jumper isn't 100% confident, but he's a bruiser of a PG. he could fit into a 3-guard rotation with Hayward and Burks pretty well, I'd think. He can combo.

Edit: Maybe he's a bench player. Not sure. MCW is probably our guy.

I'm aboard the Burke bandwagon. I expect him to move up the board. If necessary I hope we use both picks to move up to get him.

That's a good looking 5 right there.

You like Mclemore that much? He will dunk you face off of your face and is a solid spot up shooter but he seems really raw. I guess he is a freshman but I wouldnt take him super high if he come out this year.

I like Ben, but my post was said tongue-in-cheek, based on him listing 4 guys as his top 5.
