LOL...

Gotto admit.. that's pretty funny.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) on ESPN at 7pm MST

UK @ Alabama

Should be a great game (UK favored by 3.5). Bama's got great and experienced guards and a great coach.

On a downer note, they like to slow the game down (I hate that).

Mark your calendars.

April 20th. Nike Hoop Summit. I may try to make the trip to Portland to see the guys play ball.

Nice roster;

Andrew Harrison (#1 ranked PG in the class)
Aaron Harrison (#1 ranked shooting guard in the class)
Jabari Parker (#2 ranked SF in the class)
Julius Randle (#1 ranked PF in the class)
Noah Vonleh (#2 ranked PF in the class)
Aaron Gordon (#3 ranked SF in the class)
Kasey Hill (#2 ranked PG in the class)
Demetrius Jackson (6th ranked PG in the class)
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (4th ranked SF in the class)
Bobby Portis (#2 ranked C in the class)

These will be fun to watch. Watch for Kasey Hill .. he's going to be another very good PG.

Can't you just wait til they come to UK ?

Too bad I'll miss this.

The last Nike Hoop Summit is on youtube, for those of you who haven't seen it. Wiggins, Shabazz, Noel, Saric, Bennett and so on are all in it. Really good game.

Yep. Looking at that list, I'll just say (even though at this point it's become somewhat cliché) this Hoops Summit roster would demolish that one. Way too much offensive firepower and strength.

Experts are saying this '13 class is better than the '04 and '07 .. which are generally considered to be among the best ever.

Who were in those classes? (too lazy to look it up)

The 2004 and 2007 recruiting class have been widely considered the two best of the past 25-30 years or so in regards to overall talent and depth. The 2013 class has been said to be as good or better top to bottom than both those classes. According to Rivals, the guys in those classes have seen long and successful NBA careers. Guys still in the NBA from those classes:

2004:

1. Dwight Howard
2. Shaun Livingston
3. Josh Smith
4. Al Jefferson
5. Rudy Gay
6. Sebastian Telfair
8. JR Smith
11. Marvin Williams
12. Dorell Wright
13. Glen Davis
16. LaMarcus Aldridge
25. Rajon Rondo
26. Aaron Afflalo
28. Kyle Lowry
29. Daniel Gibson
31. Corey Brewer
32. AJ Price
36. Al Horford
45. Greg Stiemsma
66. Toney Douglas
75. Joakim Noah
131. Rodney Stuckey
148. DeMarre Carroll

2007:

1. Michael Beasley
2. Eric Gordon
3. Derrick Rose
4. OJ Mayo
5. Kyle Singler
6. Kevin Love
8. DeAndre Jordan
10. JJ Hickson
11. James Harden
12. Anthony Randolph
13. Jerryd Bayless
16. Kosta Koufos
17. Patrick Patterson
19. Chandler Parsons
23. Blake Griffin
25. Austin Daye
30. Cole Aldrich
32. James Anderson
35. E'Twaun Moore
39. Nolan Smith
49. Evan Turner
57. Jeff Teague
59. DeJuan Blair
62. James Johnson
82. Jon Leuer

***UK bragging alert***

and currently, as good a class as it's being made out to be... UK has commitments/signed the following in 2013:

4. Andrew Harrison
5. Aaron Harrison
10. James Young
13. Dakari Johnson
18 Marcus Lee
129. Derek Willis

and is still in the running for:

1. Andrew Wiggins
2. Julius Randle
6. Aaron Gordon

Aaron Harrison is ranked above Aaron Gordon? Interesting. I need to see more of him, I've always just been more intrigued by his brother and focussed more on him.

Aaron Harrison can play PG as well, but he is a natural scorer (best scorer in the class, followed by James Young). He's a killer and has that instinct to rip throats. His brother, Andrew, is similar but more cerebral.

Better than Wiggins??
