Following potential 2013 draftees

You would be interested in drafting two point guards? I wouldn't necessarily be against it. Yeah, I haven't heard anything about Adetokoupo in awhile. Snell is sky rocketing up draft boards too, definitely would be all for a Schroeder and Snell draft.

Yes yes yes, x2 PG, Schroeder at #14 and Larkin as backup PG at #21 and we're set for years and yearsssssssssss. Re-sign Tinsley to mentor them both and we're good to go.

Otherwise, I'd prefer a 2-way wing like Snell or Bullock. He can come in, play next to Hayward, in the Kawhii role. OH yes.

Yes I watched, and Noel is better than Len one game doesn't prove anything if I remember right C.J. Miles scored 40 one game when he was on the Jazz and Linas Kleiza used to continually tear up the Jazz for 35+. Did Len ever have 11 blocks in one game vs. a ranked team? Did Len lead the nation in Blocks Per Game?

no but Jarvis Varnardo used to get a ton of blocks, is he better than Len too?

I prefer Noel but these players have some similarities, i think Noel will end up bigger than Sanders, i hate that noels offense is so limited, but hes young for this class, and both of them cant really shoot at all, jumpers or free throws, offensive rebounding demons though, and defensive stalwarts

Len has potential to be the featured player on offense, and do it efficiently

Noel does not

Yes tough call.

But if you look at Dwight, he also has limited offensive skills and no jump shot, yet he is able to make an impact. If Noel can live off of put backs and alley hoops, why not?

I just think you know what Noel is gonna give you, therefore it's a safer pick.

To be honest, I haven't seen a lot of him either.

i have and he looks great at first, but if u really watch closely theres 1 problem with him up in the first round... hes toooooo skinny, who the hell is he gonna guard, needs to work on his build, has SHARP tools though... Glen Rice Jr is 211lbs

i dont look at these players always in the one or the other light

Len is a 5, Noel can play 4 and 5

if i had my choice id put Noel at PF and Len at C... like Favors/Kanter

This statement is true, but do you have something against skinny players? I take it you don't like Giannis as well?

no giannis is totally different, hes a project, and born in december 94

Snell will be a 22 year old Rookie, who still needs to put on 20lbs no matter how you slice it, thats why ive decided to put him at the top of the 2nd round, very skilled player though

OK.. how about you having McCollum & MCW fall so low? Why no faith?

MCW i have redflagged for potential Turnover issues, other than Schroder and Burke ive concluded we might be better off waiting for a PGOTF in 2014, Larkin i think fits well, but his size/defense presents issues come winning time, so i see him more as a 6th man/place holder til burks is ready to take the crown

McCollum is older and a tweener, plus theres plenty of teams with Guards of that size signed long term, he reminds me of a more specialized, less battle tested version of Brandon Knight...

but he really still reminds me of the Randy Foye, who fooled me in 2006(had foye way up in the lottery and Rondo in the middle of the 1st...)

i had LMA #1 overall, Rudy Gay #2, and Randy Foye #3 in 2006

and i really liked Denham Brown who scored 111points in a game in HS, in the 2nd round. also i liked Millsap but not as much as Steve Novak (in the 2nd)

You don't see Steph Curry in McCollum?

I've always thought he's not quick/nimble enough to be a PG.

no, if steph curry was in this draft id be advocating we trade all the picks and he pick in 2015 to move up for him.

McCollum i just dont see as a team player i have him as a SG/"PG". hes a monster in space, and i love his 3point shot but if hes a 6'3" wing player, i want a guy whos built like Waiters or Beal, which he is not

I much prefer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nJ28rjI7KI to McCollum aswell

Jarvis Varnando for Noel Nerlens. Perfect. Hassan Whiteside also good. I once said that Noel was Jeremy Evans with 1 inch, 12 pounds, and less offensive ability--if Noel had played for Western Kentucky he would be a late 2nd round pick.

Everyone keeps saying the trend is to go with 4 athletic guys about 6-8 and a pg, space the floor and win. the regular season seemed to show it worked. But look who was the last 4 in the playoffs 3 plodding centers and the team of the millenium, The Miami Heat, blessed be their names, who are mired in a series because of Roy Hibbert.

NBA teams need two-way players, can't hide a guy on either end anymore. The Mark Eaton rule is gone.

Len everyday of the week for me as long as the doctors okay the foot/ankle. Noel to be considered at 46 if the doctors okay the knee.

***Yea, so I might have got a little carried away here. Probably should have been sleeping instead of posting.

noel is the 3rd player on my board and i dont have a bad word to say if he goes #1

infact the only thing i have to say bad about him is i prefer Len (and Favors), and im not sure i would have drawn that conclusion unless i saw, with my own eyes, Len outplay him and basically the whole entire kentucky defense, other than marcus smart @kansas it was one of the best solo performances i saw all season

Schröder fell to us on every mock but one. Please let this happen.

OKC and Dallas are my main concern.

- OKC as PG_AB had alluded to, could go BPA and grab him, playing Westbrook off the ball. Jackson remain the backup PG.

- Dallas, fear of striking out on the Howard sweepstakes and grab their future PG. Also they have Donnie Wash and Tony Ronzone who are extremely familiar with Int. Bball.

Damn it, Saric better rise. And he better rise fast into Dallas' lap!!!

I could see Dallas taking a Euro purely for the sake of securing cap space for a Dwight run. I believe Karasev and Giannis have both stated they'll be staying in Europe for a bit.

Just a thought.

I've never bought that theory. Dwight would only come to Dallas if there is legit chance of winning (i.e., CP3 coming with him). But for that to happen they'll need to rid themselves of Marion's contract. To do that the'll surely have to give up the #13 pick.
