Following potential 2013 draftees

My first attempt at a mock draft, constructive criticism and complements are wanted:

Nice work and plausible. My thoughts---If Mitchel is on the board he will go to the Bulls, Rudy Gobert won't go that high, Phoenix with Jeffrey at the helm will get CJ McCollum if he is still on the board. Len's basement is Potland, but Sacto will take him if they have a seperate deal in place to move Cousins which is sounding like a possibility. Dieng will not last to 28, Spurs are taking Mike Musculla.

The only question mark I have is Dallas taking Gobert, I don't think they'll want a project and Gobert is project with a capital "P".

Thanks for your thoughts.

If Mitchell is on the board he will go to the Bulls.
They already have Jimmy Butler at small forward, why take another one?

Rudy Gobert won't go that high.
This could be true, but we'll see what happens with Gobert.
Phoenix with Jeffrey at the helm will get C.J. McCollum if he is still on the board.
McCollum to Phoenix seems very plausible, I didn't think of that and come to think of it I think he is a shooting guard anyway so it would be a good fit. The problem that it presents is that Oladipo would fall past #7 and I don't see that happening.
Dieng will not last to 28, Spurs are taking Mike Muscala.
Where do you think Dieng will go?

I actually think it's very plausible that Dallas takes Gobert.
They need a Tyson Chandler to make that run again and Gobert fits that mould- maybe not as well, but certainly he will be a presence in the same way.

They can't be building around Dirk anymore. They just need BPA.

I'm thinking Tony Mitchel will be a pf. I still believe Boozer will be moved.

This could be true, but we'll see what happens with Gobert.

Mavs have shown an unreasonable love for really tall guys (See Bradley and Polvodzine for starters) But I think the NBA has changed.

Jeff was a pg/sg in Phoenix, loves to move up and down fast, loves to shoot the three, Phx needs an attraction to get people coming again. Sounds like McCollum to me.

If he was on the board the spurs might struggle with the decision. But I think Dieng will be gone. I think his basement is 25 to Clippers.

I listened to one of the interviews with Locke and a Dallas reporter and Dallas' plan according to that guy is for the next 2 years or so is to get Dirk a big and a PG to help win a championship.
Not sure how much credibility the guy has, but I do know Cuban is outspoken.

From a few pages back.... Glen Rice Jr. looks like a legit talent in the middle of the first round. If he went late lottery it wouldn't totally shock me. It depends on how he does in workouts. He looks like a tough-nosed scorer who will do well at the NBA level.

If I were Dallas, I'd look at Carter-Williams, Gobert, and Dieng. I'd also look at Adams if he's on the board. Schroeder is going to take a couple years to develop, and that will be the end of Dirk's window. If Dallas trades the #13 pick, they should try to get a relevant player back for it, not just dump salary.
