Following potential 2013 draftees

see like what people dont understand here is that i have a higher grade on Alex Len than i did Hayward.

so if we could get #3 for hayward, to take Len, in my book thats a win everytime

thats just me, i have a tendency to put a Big #1 overall

i had Lamarcus Aldridge #1 overall
i did not have Greg Oden #1 overall
i had Yao Ming #1 overall
i had Enes Kanter#1 overall
and Demarcus Cousins #1 overall
my personal favorite so far, since tim duncan

i had Brook Lopez #1 overall

and my biggest gaffe was Hasheem Thabeet near #1, but memphis was a terrible spot for him, shame on them for that pick

so this year not to keep tradition but because i actually have him graded the highest,

Alex Len is my #1 overall player

You just contradicted yourself there bro.....

Yeah I call ******** on that one. There is absolutely no way you did not have Greg oden no 1 overall. You mean to tell me that you had all these other bigs number one, but not a guy who would have been better than any of them if he didn't get injured? BS

Well that is true. But if you can get a guy who is your leader, and he is also filled with the Holy Spirit, I think you will have a great foundation for your team. Why? Because you'll have a leader who will always strive to "do the right thing".

You look at Lillard, Burke, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Dwayne Wade, - yeah sure they have talent, but equally they are also great leaders/character guys who are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Dwyane Wade cheated on his wife...

It's easy to play results.

its actually the truth though.. I didnt have Andrea Bargnani #1, Lamarcus and Rudy gay were the best prospects to me, thats back when i thought foye could play PG.

i had roy hibbert graded way over consensus too, and u know i liked Isaiah Austin last summer, before he won the Big 12 Rebounding title, everyone on this site unanimously said hes too weak and cant rebound

you're either the weirdest person or the best troll I have ever encountered on here.

Either way I love you.

Hmm.. not sure I get you.

People who are filled with the Spirit are high character people. Durant, Wade, Lillard, Burke are the moral backbones of their respective teams. To deny that the Spirit has nothing to do with who they are as a person is like saying Birds don't need wings to fly.

actually this was back when my dad was alive he used to say always take the big guy and i was watching all the games and concluded Durant was the best player i saw in college, ever. also i saw odens offensive limitations and Roy Hibbert and Brook Lopez had already caught my eye as post scorers, so i was all for Durant

Who would you like the Jazz to take when this situation plays out

#1 Noel
#2 McLemore
#3 Bennett
#4 Oladipo
#5 Porter
#6 Burke
#7 Len
#8 Carter-Williams
#9 McCollum
#10 Muhammad
#11 Adams
#12 Zeller
#13 Schroeder

#14? Olynyk? Adetokunbo? Larkin?

Olynyk would be my pick. Favors & Kanter are great defensive guys. Olynyk is ideal as the 3rd big off the bench giving us that offensive burst.

but in greg odens defense, the legend goes he could take a penny off the backboard, meaning greg oden was like a Bigger Dwight Howard, its a shame he fell off

if he ever checks out and has some bounce in his knees, can run the floor, someone will pay him...

btw if gobert puts on 25lbs hes effectively the same size or bigger than Greg Oden, whos listed weight was probably less than reality so lets call it 35lbs

Lucas is almost the same size frame as Oden - 30lbs and slower less explosive combne #'s

I think if the Jazz draft at #14 and take Larkin it will be a huge let down. If Schroeder is really gone by #14, we can take one of: Carter-Williams, Caldwell-Pope, Kelly Olynyk, Rudy Gobert, Sergey Karasev, Glen Rice Jr., Jamal Franklin, or Giannis Whatsisname......all of whom I'd take over Larkin in the first round. Larkin is a 3rd guard at best, an energy guy you let loose against the other team's 2nd unit.

Also, if Jerry Sloan butts his head into the discussion, I think he'd take Wolters over Larkin. He loved Hornacek, loved Hayward, and likes bigger, more versatile guards in general. If the Jazz end up with Gobert and Wolters, you'll know that Sloan got directly involved.

you forgot that larkin had t-rex arms 5'10 wingspan on a 5'11 frame...

Schroders arms are like Rondos.. almost 6'8" wingspan

so the 10 inches less in vertical is made up for directly with 10 inches of standing reach,

to mention their heights and not reach this is doing schroder a great disservice in the comparison

I'll take the length over vert all day. What % of the game do these guys spend at their max vert, lol.

i mean most of these guys are resting their knees from actual basketball training, Larkin obviously was in some crazy training to put up 44inch vertical, thats crazy

In that scenario, I'd take Gobert, KCP, Rice Jr., Giannis or Karasev. I'd take a wing shooter or upside pick. Then I'd take Wolters at #21.

It's precisely because of NBN's scenario that I'd have a deal to move up to #9 or #10 on the table. I don't think Minny and Portland are committed to those picks, although Minny is trying to move up for Oladipo.

I'd be a bit surprised if Dallas took Schroeder over Gobert though.
