1) Jay Williams wasn't a chucker. He was just riding a motorcycle which he shouldn't have. But young kids don't always make smart moves.
2) Luol Deng character wise is a prototype Duke player. Have you ever followed what he does off the court? One of the most intelligent and social NBA players out there. Think he also got an NBA award for his sustainable development projects in Sudan focusing on children education. He just happens to be black.
3)Their game has nothing in common imo. If Durant was only half his size he could compete with 12 yr old Chinese gymnastics studs...Durant combines his unique agility with good skills, but he can do what he wants because whatever he does he's at advantage. Parker is a guy who plays his opponent. You give him an inch too much space, he pulls up in your face, you leave defensive stand while closing out, he's going to attack you off the dribble. That's what he does, and that's why he's a good fit for Duke, where fundamentals are very highly valued.

James Young is a guy who I really like and would love seeing in a Jazz uniform. If he is available with the GS pick he will be wearing a Jazz uniform. I will keep my eye on him to see if the hype is real but what I've seen of him I just love.

2) luol deng is not a typical duke recruit his older bother (or brothers, i forget) were already established pros overseas... deng was compared to magic johnson before he played a game at duke, also he didnt go 1 and done, probably because he had nothing to worry about.

not sure if this is true but my buddy knows lots of crazy stories like this... apparently at duke luol deng used to get so many girls he had a sign up sheet outside his door....

my point with Kyrie (who comes from a rich family) and Deng is they arent the classic, stay for the education and the experience dookies, they were there to display their skills for the nba, i think Parker is doing the same

and 3) i compare Parker to paul pierce, i think his shot is hard to block not because of an athletic advantage like Dirk or Durant but that hes just excellent in small space... i do fully expect the national media to compare him to durant though

National media sucks.. but I still expect to see a Pierce comp.
