Following potential 2014 draftees

Croatia and Serbia game just started. If anyone interested to see Saric and Hezonja, can watch with this link. Can't promise if they will get playing time though, but at least Tomic is playing.

Edit: Also Vasilije Micic in the game for Serbia.

FWIW, Micic was good, first time I saw him. No Hezonja. Tomic is just an ordinary good Euro Baller and he will stay that way.

Saric got a few minutes and looked completely lost. I was so high on him but I'm less excited about him now. Though he was very good at the last U19 tournament, I can see him having the curse of being a SF/PF tweener in the NBA. And there isn't any improvement about his attitude on the court.

His upside is still off the charts though.

I like Saric okay... but I'll stand by my argument (with many here) that he will not be a top 10 guy in this draft.

Thanks for the update.

Should have went with the promise of the Mavs this year. Won't get better than this...
I think I need to establish myself as an entrepreneur and found a player consultation office. Simply gathering cases of young talents who withdrew their names from the draft and had their stock fall after that. Would just need to do a Mavs to Howard kind of cartoon presentation so the mongoloid ballers would understand my point and cash in big time for advising to stay in the draft and make teams regret it at least a couple years later while their bank account is getting filled.

Agreed.

His U19 stats were 22,3 points, 12,6 rebounds and 5,5 assists in 8 games(I'm excluding 9th game against China). Impressive but his TO average was the same with his assists average! But most of his turnovers come from that he's too much forced to lead the game by his coaching staff.

His worst and best case scenarios are Hedo, imo. At Worst he will be Raptors Hedo, at best he will be a glorified 07-08 season Hedo with better defense. Detlef Schrempf and Kukoc might be other comparisons.

Found a little quote about Wiggins from Self on hoopsworld. It's originally from sportsillustrated, but the article isn't about Wiggins, so I won't link the whole article.

“Andrew will be the best athlete I’ve ever been around,” Self said. “He’s a 6’8 guard. His stroke has gotten better. The biggest thing with me and him is making sure he’s plugged into every possession. When he was in high school, he could really turn it on but he hasn’t been able to do it for an entire game. That’s what worries me a little bit.”

He's calling him a guard, which matches my observation.

Mine too. Been calling him a SG that can also play SF for two years now. (rather than a SF that can play SG)

Coincidentally they attached an vague top 10 mock draft to it, in which they called Wiggins a SF
Well they also said Exum is going to be a PG and Parker PF!
I think Wiggins simply doesn't have the frame to add the proper amount of weight for a SF and even if he did it would take away his biggest strengths to a certain extent.

I think exum is a sg that can play some pg.

Parker is a sf who can play some 4 but he is a face up 4 not a post up 4.

randle is a beast who sometimes can be an animal.

lol

Parker is more of a PF that can play some SF... maybe equally as well. But I don't think he's any more SF than PF. He is waaay crafty around the rim.
