Following potential 2014 draftees

If you remember, I was the sole supporter of MCW on this board.

At some point in time you have been the supporter of every player drafted.
Smart way to ensure you will always be right.

Untrue.

I made many posts in favor of MCW. The week leading up to draft night he was my top choice/ closely tied with Schroeder. Always said he was the kind of pg we should be coveting, and that his shot didn't look mechanically wrong (it just lacked spin and arc), and if he figured out his shot, he would easily become top pg in his draft,

With that said, one incredible game against the reigning world champs is just that. He will have more games like this mixed in with the kind of games that made others doubt him (he is a rook playing on an atrocious team).

I felt like his court vision and defensive potential alone were enough to gamble on him. I mean 12 AST's playing with that cast of jokers is amazing.

Fine - here's the proof. I just found my old poll which I set up myself and I clearly stated:

Playoffs VS Trey Burke

Simple question, simple answer. What do you guys prefer?

My choice is Playoffs & pick Michael Carter-Williams instead. He's long, he's athletic, can finish at the rim and he's a GREAT passer.

But that's my choice, what's yours?

You can look at the thread in all of its glory here:

That doesn't prove you were his sole supporter like you claimed. Anyways, don't act like you're some prophet who was always on his jock. Remember this?

Here's my PG list this year in the order of preference:
1. Schroeder - quick, fast, plays defense, looking to pass, elite athleticism is key if you want to win Chips. I think he has a higher ceiling than Burke.

2. Burke - great leader, great handle, reliable, looking to pass, 3pt shooting, lower ceiling than Shroeder

3. McCollum - still not convince he's agile/nimble/quick enough to be a PG at the next level, but his shooting is undeniably vital for our squad

4. MCW - Still likes what he brings but still not sure whether he can hit those shots consistently

I just want to go on the record, that so far my opinion is that if we pick at #1, we should take Parker and not Wiggins.
I know the motto is "Tank for Wuggins", and I'm fine with that.... but I lean towards Parker.
P.S. It's not because he's LDS, it's because I like his game better and I actually think he may be more consistent and more dominant in a team setting.

All Star games don't count, those aren't real team settings, those are jungle ball.

I'm actually very interested in College BBall this year, and I usually am not interested in watching the Kansas, Kentucky, Duke type teams night in and night out.

...and Jimmer is officially a free agent.

I can see merit in that, but I need to atleast see half a season before I start really saying who I want.

I personally just want the Jazz to have a bad *** wing player who can kick LeBron's ***. I would like Wiggins, I would like Parker, Young sounds great. Any pick in the top ten of the next draft sounds awesome to me.

But I do have a feeling that the Millers have told DL to go after Jabari at all costs. I seriously think that Jabari will end up with the Jazz one day. I mean, think about it, it would be the best story in basketball. The mormon kid ends up in Utah and brings a championship for eternal glory. Greg Miller would make a butte load of money. And no, we don't need Jimmer, because he sucks at basketball.

I do love me some Jimmer, but as far as I know Jimmer does not enter into the Parker equation.

Mostly I love Jimmer to bother posters here, but there is something deep down inside that says he can still bring something to some team somewhere if actually given a shot.
He could be our role player of the future if we can't get Kermit McDermott.

I hope they haven't done that. If Wiggins proves to be better than Jabari with what we see this season, go after Wiggins at all costs.
