Trading Kanter or Favors + #6 might get us to #4 with a lower pick coming back to us, assuming a team isn't high on Exum or Randle. I don't think anyone will trade a top 3 pick.
That might work for us if the Jazz decide Kanter and Favors aren't great together and they don't want to carry both salary extensions.
Burke over Smart.
Would anyone draft Marcus Smart and trade Trey Burke? Or does Trey have more upside?
No way would I trade Trey this early. If you draft Smart, and you want him to a be PG, then you let them compete to see who is better. When it becomes clear, then you trade the other.
Don't think it would be clear until a year or so though. Plus I think Smart can play SG, he has enough length and his strength will dissuade taller SG's from wanting to post him up.
I remember you being the first to really pimp him.
I agree we need Parker or Wiggins. But this franchise has proved they aren't willing to do what it takes to get a bottom 3 record (sitting players with suspicious injuries etc). We'll need some serious lottery lock.
I can also see the Jazz dangling Kanter in an attempt to move up and get Parker, which would be bawse, but idk if it's enough.
6th + Kanter + GS pick + GS 2017 pick for 3rd pick? Idk if that gets it done. The top 3 are potential franchise players.
I just threw up in my mouth. Randle isn't worth moving up for, especially if it means trading Kanter to do it.
I'm all for drafting a PF/C, then using Kanter to grab a SF (Thaddeus Young pls).
I thought it was a charge. Regardless, GO GET PARKER DL.
Gordon finished 23 and 8.
Also hit his two 3-point attempts. The fact that he has shown some ability to hit 3's gives me hope that he has legitimate offensive potential. Just has to keep developing his confidence in his offense.
^^ quantity rarely gets it done, that might though. At the same time it is retarded to think they could save all those assets by losing just a few more games this year.
