Following potential 2014 draftees

some have suggested drafting Stauskas and starting him. I've been trying to find 6'6-6'7 200lb players who are mainly shooters and are around the fringe lottery. theres really not too many success stories

Last years Kentavious Caldwell-Pope fits that 200lb 6'6 shooter profile and has been pretty bad this year, same with Ben McLemore, Sergey Karasev and Tony Snell. Guys like Terrence Ross and Jeremy Lamb have been decent.

Klay is one of the few whos outperformed his draft position so i thought it was worth a closer look

Klay had the troubled kid moniker attached to him or he could have gone higher. I was mad when GS took him one spot ahead of us.

I get why you're asking now though.

McLemore is just now getting a chance to start (after the trade deadline). He must have shown enough promise for Sac to pull the trigger on the trade. In March his averages are 43%/33%. Not great, but certainly improving. I think he'll be a solid SG.

He'll be a good role player.

He can't create in iso situations, nor can he defend in isos. He's good with straight line drives, spot up 3s, on the break...

All of this was pretty clear a year ago.

KJ McDaniels is about to play vs SMU in the NIT on espn2

SMU should be interesting next year with Mudiay and could be reaally good if Myles Turner joins him

I'm not sure Kanter's the weakest link. He's got good size, shooting touch, passing, quickness and motor for a PF. I see him as part of a Big Three, sooner than I see that with Favors.
