Following potential 2014 draftees

Parker will have a career similar to that of Tim Duncan. he will just make his teams win. he will be the unrecognized super star. he personally will bring a couple championships to his team. the reason the comparison is both are fundamentally sound and don't play the game to be the hero but to just be the best. (that falls short of what I feel but will do)

This.

Sorry.. this is purely a UK players post, only. I just wanted to look at a few mocks and see what they're saying (early) about the players (7/17/13);

Just for ****s and giggles.. that makes 6 players being projected by at least one service as a lottery pick.

Listing each player with their HIGHEST mock spot (some are dumb, admittedly);

Randle - #2
WCS - #5
D.Johnson - #5
AnHarrison - #6
Young - #7

Poythress - #21

So, PKM, how excited would you be if Utah took Andrew Harrison at #6 and then Aaron Harrison landed in that mid-range (early 20's) and Poythrees fell into the early second, allowing the Jazz to take all three?

If the Jazz draft one from Kentucky, he's attending Jazz games only in that player's wildcat jersey. If they get 3 from there, he's not going to the game as he can't decide which Kentucky merchandise he's going to wear.

It definitely makes it more fun for me. I know all these guys personally and it makes it all much more enjoyable.
It's hard for people to understand that Cousins is one of my favorite people I've ever met... hard to understand without getting to know him. Point is, it just changes everything.

I was ecstatic when we drafted Kanter. Not only because I had already seen what he could do while at UK.. but also because the dude is just funny as **** and full of life.
In the times I've spoken to him since his arrival in Utah we didn't speak much about the team.. he really only mentioned that he was being patient, taking his time, and will accept any role the team needed him to. he was sincere about that.

I'm excited that we may pick up at least one other..

@Hantlers - You spoke of McAdoo.. but what do you think will happen with Hairston???

I think he's a better player than McAdoo, probably the best player on UNC's team currently.

I don't think he'll get kicked off. Roy is going to do what he can to keep him on the team, even though he definitely should get kicked off.

UNC is a lot dirtier than most people think.

I don't disagree with your assessment. Pretty amazing that PJ has already been found to have been provided 3 cars by drug dealers and agrents (proven) and was pulled over with drugs and iron (proven) and Roy says "we'll have to discuss what punishment is appropraite." Yikes.. I can tell you that I would want ANY player kicked off the team if it were a UK player... and I totally mean that with a passion.

If Hairston is able to play, the NCAA is dirtier than the AAU/shoe companies 'runners.'

The NCAA did nothing about UNC's academic fraud, but dammit man...if you sell your own jersey, you're about to get *** raped by the NCAA. We already know the NCAA is corrupt, hell, just look at what they're doing to Miami.

On a side note, I would love for Roy to keep coaching at UNC. He's lost it. Not the same coach he was at Kansas, and he's not getting the recruits he should be getting. I'm enjoying their implosion.

Hairston will either play, or he'll get kicked off and UNC knew "nothing" about it. Should be interesting though because they are on probation bc of football, but I don't think the NCAA would let a golden pony like UNC basketball get punished. Too much money to lose.

I feel like this thread is going to lead me to be let down by Wiggins.

So you would rather take what you see as a safe bet than shoot for the stars.(poss championship)

Isn't this the kind of thinking that got the jazz stuck in mediocrity?
