Following potential 2014 draftees

Nice PG matchup between Marcus Smart and Joe Jackson tonight. Jackson was once a top HS prospect, so I'm especially interested to see how he matches up with Smart, unless if he guards Phil Forte (more likely). Speaking of late first/exactly 2nd round prospects....Shabazz Napier.

Dude is like 6'0-6'1 and damn near averaging a triple-double. He could really push Neto as a backup PG IMO, I think he's worth a solid look with the GS pick, or our 2nd rounder.

So Wiggins maybe the better defensive player in the end, but Parker isn't a bad defensive player. As long as Parker isn't only an offensive player
I'm not too concerned.

I am more concerned about Parker and Randle's defense. PKM can Randle guard SF and is he a 3 in the NBA. I think both Randle and Parker are going to struggle defensively if they guard PFs.

My only issue is that he could have a Derrick Williams complex. He will struggle against big lineups if he doesn't have the ability to play SF.

And this.

PKM - would be good to get your input bro.

I think Parker is a full SF. He has basically no back 2 the basket game in the games I've seen. He's good from the pick and roll as a ball handler and driving to the hoop with variations.
Defensively he's going to be a good team defender and individually I don't worry too much. He's quick enough. He always has these sexy stat sheets with 2 blocks 2 steals 8 rebs. Hard worker, he gonna be alrite.

Btw FK U cowhide. I was considering unignoring kkk now that the hunger and Randle can play SF talk has died down. Thx for prolonging that situation.

The scouts and GMS that i have talked to think he is the prototypical power forward and he can even play some stretch 4 depending on who he is paired with. Most think he could play spot minutes at the 3 but think he will be a 4

This is what Givony wrote about Randle and I would tend to agree. Watching him play the last game against Robert Morris, he seems too big/immobile to play the 3. If he keeps growing physically, I think the 4 is where he'll play in the NBA.

Randle might fancy himself as being somewhat of a small forward, but at his size and with the way his body is developing, that might not be ideal for his long-term development, as it appears he'd be a far more potent weapon at the 4. Comparisons to Al Harrington and Terrence Jones are already making the rounds, and Randle's scoring ability seems to justify them.

So you've reversed your position in less than 5 games.

I'm shocked.... you're usually so consistent.... your opinions so well-informed and enduring.
