Following potential 2014 draftees

The limited interest I've showin towards Anderson is that I doubt his playmaking will translate with his scoring capability so limited. I think Adetokunbo is the steal of last year's draft as it looks right now. Probably a top4 player in the class in terms of production and value. And I like a lot of guys from the class with the 2 bigs not even having played yet. And I honestly don't think that Anderson will be anywhere close to Adetokunbo in terms of playmaking, scoring and defense. 2nd rounder in hope he can outplay some veterans after a learning process or average talent no BBIQ bench guys.

Not very good..... got to the line a bit and made all but 1, had some nice finishes in transition (where he is basically unstoppable), had some nice drives to the hoop in the half court........... but his shot was off and he probably missed about 3 or 4 from deep plus a couple of other long 2's.

Played good defense for the most part.

His concerns are the same as they have always been: suspect jump shot and suspect effort/motor/aggression. I really believe his jumpshot is gonna be just fine (good mechanics and usually his misses are not bad misses) but I worry about the effort/motor/aggression aspect.
Probably will need a really coach in nba to get every drop of his ability turned into production.

If he every gets it all put together watch out

Note I just watched the first half. Wiggins was all passive and then he saw a crack in the zone. He was to the hoop from the 3 point incredibly fast. I think with Coaching he will be able to identify more of his good opportunities to score.

and with better spacing in the league... KU can't shoot and the defense really packs in on them.

Id take Embiid 1 i think his upside is the highest and people saying he has a high bust factor and is raw are crazy hes already pretty damn skilled for a big man..I havent seen a big man prospect as good as him in years

If I'm Kansas I'd try to get the ball to the highpost to Perry Ellis against a zone and he can make plays from there. Or you start practicing complex schemes that require backscreens and deception to create a driving lane on or off the ball.
The bad thing about Kansas is not necessarily that they have no 3 point shooting, but they're also lacking guys with a midrange game to make them pay in any way.

i will admit i was wrong about giannis. he looks like he will be very solid. african players are gaining a lot more skill. (i know he is from greece but an imigrant from africa)

sometimes i read your posts and and i swear my IQ drops 2 points.

gOOD thing there are other posters that bring it back up.

?? Thought those were legit questions, tbh. I have absolutely no idea what Lazy was on about there, honest.

Anderson is a really interesting college player, but he's never really seemed like an NBA guy to me. I just don't see his game translating. But worth a look in the 2nd round, fo sho.

Always been a Giannis fan (I think the board as a whole was, actually).
