Following potential 2014 draftees

Vonleh and Kanter have very similar games and weaknesses.

Vonleh has better physical tools to fall back on though. 3 inches of wingspan and a better athlete. Having said that, Vonleh will probably never have Kanter's footwork.

I think we're agreeing here. They have no reason to stay.

Yip, especially with Embiid now having a smaller injury right now. One can just hope that's helping his decision process. And Wiggins watching his bud won't even need to be influenced by that.
If he really was about showcasing superiority he wouldn't have reclassified in high school, but taken his time there. He's about development and execs are seeing that.

Oh this is the 2014 thread.

So basically you're surprised you found the right thread to write that ish?

Interesting comparison. But might be true. What I don't like about Kanter this year is his defensive rebounding, which is exactly what I like about Vonleh. Rarely forgets to box out his man according to the dx vid.

Vonleh has a Corbin too?

That's devious.

Kanters midrange jumpshot is pretty damn good too

As a Jazz fan and with the team improving enough to be outside the top 5 draft picks, would you be happy with a draft of Aaron Gordon and Doug McDermott? Both players seem to be good fits with this current core. I can also see the Jazz trading up if possible. With Neto potentially coming over next season, I doubt the Jazz will want 4 rookies (including their second round pick)

Burke Neto
Hayward Burks
McDermott Evans
Favors Gordon
Gobert Kanter

nice young core!

The new mock draft on ESPN has us taking Exum with the fifth pick, and Mario Hezonja with the GS pick. I would be stoked on that draft. Probably going to get Aaron Gordon though.

Stauskas might be a little too low. And who is Wuggins?

If we can't get Wiggins, Parker, or Embiid, I want Aaron Gordon.

Dude is offensively challenged, but with his athletic ability and IQ I have a hard believing he won't improve tremendously on that side of the ball. His defense and intangibles are great.

One exception would be Exum, but I don't really know/seen enough to have much of an opinion on him.
