Following potential 2015 draftees

Winslow's shot actually looks pretty dang good. Nice form from the little I've seen. Pretty good at driving into the lane and finishing. Good enough handles for the fastbreak, but not great. Reminds me of Iggy in some ways.

It's early, but he's my favorite wing player so far. No homer.
@DraftExpress: Good first half at the Barclays. Duke up 36-26. Justise Winslow continues to be Duke's most important player on both ends of the floor.

@DraftExpress: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist made 13 3s as a freshman at Kentucky. Andre Iguodala made 9 at Arizona. Justise Winslow has 7 in five games so far.

@DraftExpress: Those are the comparisons you hear often for Winslow, and they aren't bad. But Winslow might have better potential as a shooter than them.

@NateDuncanNBA: LRT from @DraftExpress, I see Winslow as much more MKG (w/ better J) than Iguodala. Not as explosive or as much feel as Andre.

Food for thought.

I'm cool with Johnson, Winslow, or that Porzingis dude, but I don't care about any draft that doesn't have Svi Mykhailiuk. I want to see Exum, Svi, and Hayward playing together on the floor before I die. They'd BBIQ the **** outta mother****ers.

LOL .. haven't really followed the draft thread, but is that even a real person??????

I'd like to take this back. Kanter's defense last night was Boozer-bad.

I get that Favors is the Jazz big that has the most value but I still wouldn't trade him over Kanter. I still have my doubts on Rudy's offensive ability beyond the dunk. He really struggles in traffic and holding onto the ball. However, I would keep Rudy over Kanter because I think Rudy is a true Center and Kanter is really a PF. Kanter needs to improve on defense which I think he has but his best might still be average. The reason why I like Kanter is his ability to create his own shot.
Favors and Gobert would be tough to score on but I would worry about the offense end. Favors needs to keep shooting the jumper and get another move. When he is aggressive he can be a number #2 or #3 guy.

I like Exum/Hood/Hayward/Favors/Gobert with Burke/Alec/Kanter off the bench.

Keep in mind he's just turned 17, and transitioned to the US mainly because of the threat of an Russian invasion to Ukraine that has turned sports very secondary over there.

Comparison: What Nik Stauskas is developing into with better defensive mindset. Very strong all around skillset/talent.

Some older footage, I think it's mostly from the Ukraine league, but since I can't read kyrillic and stuff it's hard to verify.

the problem is that he's shooting in the 30's or lower(FG) in pretty much every competition he's been in. On that one he's very very far from Stauskas... But I think he's probably a better passer and has better feel for the game, and better ballhandler probably... In general I don't think Stauskas is a good comparison.
