Following potential 2015 draftees

Also, this is one of the worst PG drafts I've ever seen. The only PG I like as a value pick is Kris Dunn and he's supposed to go at the end of the 1st round.

Really? Mudiay, Russell, Grant, etc. There are some great ones in this draft.

2nd round picks + Cash can get you late 1st rounders from teams that don't have roster spots for guaranteed rookie contracts (though I think doing this is becoming less and less popular).

I'm not sure any team will ever do this trade with Utah ever again.

How does he not fall to the 2nd? He's not very good.

He's a very athletic and quick wing who does a lot of things well and fills the stat-sheet. He's a great passer and and facilitator, good feel for the game... in general he's good at basketball. He crashes the glass(I think he's one of the best wing-rebounders in the draft) and has some good defensive potential. Not a big scorer/shooter. But I can see a team falling in love with him late first, early second.

Hezonja would be a dream, but he's out of our reach IMO.

We could have a glut of wings in the coming years-- pending good growth from Hood & Burks, and with Hayward already present. Bringing Mario into the mix would simply be too much for other teams.

I think I might be fine with Oubre.

We're not drafting Mudiay or Russell - and I consider Russell a SG anyways. And I'm not big on Mudiay anyways.

Grant is meh. I saw him play Duke and it wasn't pretty.

hezonja is the dream but think of this

- snyders system doesn't run through a ball dominate pg. burks could play pg in the jazz offense

- or Hayward could play some stretch 4 in a small ball rotation

- hood, hezonja and Hayward would be an incredible rotation.

- trade Burke for a back up stretch 4

- worst case scenario jazz have 4 very good wings and could get a good bounty off the one that doesn't fit (cough burks)

Maybe. We've got assets to move up for sure. We've even got cap space to take back a bad contract if that's what it takes. I wouldn't say he's completely out of the realm of possibility. I know I'd be willing to give up a good amount for him.

Damn.. I know everyone knows, but sheesh.. losing;

Andrew Harrison
Aaron Harrison
Devin Booker
Trey Lyles
Karl Towns
WCS
Dakari Johnson

Damn..

Hehe..

Got this from the Hood Thread, who'd you guys think DL will grab as the steal of the draft this year???

Funny thing is the Jazz just may have the "steal" of the draft 2 years in a row now with Rudy the year before.

We have a gaping hole in the backup PF/C position, I wonder what DL will do there?
