Following potential 2015 draftees

One thing is for certain, if the Jazz are showing public interest in Lyles, they ain't drafting Lyles. . .

Locke has been going overboard on this guy. Maybe DL told him to hype him up during his interviews with Chad Ford and Jonathon Givony.

I kind of really like the Boston trade: #12 for olynyk and #16

Boston does it if Myles Turner is there. I would be sad to miss out on him. The Jazz could draft Hunter or even Oubre if he falls to 16.

Well this is a complete waste of a post.

Or are you just trolling?

Nope... just re-read it... got a call from my dad who got an alert for a trade. Apparently its a mock draft... this **** ain't real. My bad

Googling and talking at the same time... missed pretty much the title of the article in trade fever... I may have to make an alt and delete my account.

Wasn't Lance already traded to the Clippers?

Yeah and completed a physical... i was talking with my dad on the phone... he's the one who brought it up and then I googled it. It was a totally fake mock draft trade... not sure why they included Lance.

Not the first time pops has let me down.

You should let your dad see the trades in our mock draft thread.

I'm not super high on Lyles.. But most are selling him short.

All most here have seen of his actual play is nothing. Don't lie.
He played limited minutes and almost exclusively at SF. He would have thrived, much better, at PF.
His skillset at his age and at 6'10 is impressive.

Just giving the counter, in the event you hear his name called.
I mentioned the other day hat had Lyles played for another high profile school he might be rated higher. The fact that he played mostly sf should tell us something about how under the radar he is. I would not complain if the Jazz take him. He could be a potential steal for the Jazz. He can play on the perimeter. He may not have NBA range but he's young and that bodes well for him to develop a three point shot.

Might want to read the title next time
Someone thinks the Pistons will target Johnson if Mudiay and Hezonja are gone.

Yes

I like even Lyles better than Dekker. Dunno why I'm so down on him, but I am. I'd be really disappointed.

I'm warming up to Lyles actually. If it wasn't for Locke's hyping him last couple of weeks I would have probably looked at him a bit more closely. Just can't stand the thought of agreeing with Locke.

- Longer than Dekker at legit 6'9 w/o shoes (Dekker is 6'7.75")

- Standing reach at 9'0" (Dekker is 8'10")

- Same steals, blocks and assists numbers as Dekker having played nearly 10min. less per game.

- Better FT% than Dekker. 73.5% vs 70.8%.

- Doesn't shoot the 3pt shot yet but his FT % is an encouraging sign.

- Currently slotted at #13 on DX, so obviously GMs are seeing the potential.

I like his potential as a Trevor Booker type replacement. He could get spot minutes this year at the 3 and the 4 and walk into Booker's role once Booker's contract is up.
