Okay, I didn't expect much from UK going into this game today. They're still a young team with two of their best players sitting out. Not to mention they're going up against seasoned guys in their late 20's that have played pro ball (europe/NBA/etc) for years
Anyway, UK beat Puerto Rico by 25 points.
Aaron Harrison was a delight. Smooth, poised, and polished. Led all scorers. Game has become easy for him.
Andrew Harrison was much of the same but in the PG mold.
Tyler Ulis is only 5'9 but is an incredible on the ball defender and makes the smart play with pinpoint passing every time. Will log big minutes.
Poythress was a beast on the boards, had some monster blocks, and is the ENERGY on the floor. Involved with every play.
Marcus Lee will be a good pro. He's similar to Jeremy Evans but just a better player.
Devin Booker.. sharpshooting SG that hits the shots, high BBiQ.. and is always in the right spot to be opportunistic.
Dakari Johnson was definitely in much better shape and it showed.. he had a couple dunks from well outside the restricted arc that he could not have done last year.
Towns.. going to be a beast. He missed a couple left hook gimmes but the dude is going to be sooo good.
Willis and Hawkins were very good end of bench guys (will be 11th and 12th in minutes this year).

With WCS and Trey Lyles in the lineup, the only way UK loses after the first couple months of basketball is if they simply can't make a shot... no way any team can hang and bang with them.
