Following potential 2015 draftees

Is Lyles really that type of player? Looks like he'll be defending 4's. Haven't seen much, maybe I'm wrong.

he is playing the 3 for the wildcats but he is the classic 3/4. he has the ability to play both positions based on need. not a good 3 pt shooter at the moment but shot looks smooth.

Lyles has the shot and handles to play the 3 offensively, but needs to guard the 4. 2G1Capisce?
This is what I thought. He will be defending 4's. He looks really solid. Not your typical brainless UK player

I'm liking Okafor more. He's getting to the FT line a lot now (17 attempts last game) and looks like a decent passer.

Overall, the top 3 looks pretty solid actually.

Yep it does.. and has for that matter. There's some decent depth in the draft as well.. still, overall, I think it's pretty weak.

I'm starting to view Lyles as the proper recipient of the Vonleh hype

I was watching Vonleh quite a bit last year. I like Lyles more than Vonleh. Vonleh's reactions always looked a bit slow. Part of his appeal was his length and some rim protection on defense. Lyles is smoother, a better passer and looks to be more consistent shooter.

The future of the Jazz looks to be Exum - - Hayward - - Gobert.

If we filled in the blanks with Winslow and Favors, we'd be great defensively, but our shooting would be so-so.

If we filled in the blanks with Burks/Hood and Porzings/Lyles, we'd be good offensively, and our defense would be average or slightly above.

Kanter is good, but I don't think he is quite what we'll need to reach the next level.

I'd love to come out of this draft with a shiny new SG and a PF who can score and facilitate. I'm a fan of both Hezonja and Winslow at the SG, and I like both Porzingis and Lyles as PFs. This assumes we don't get in the top 3.

The play starting at 4:10 is impressive... and he shows off some decent athleticism in the fast break in this video.

Then draft Johnson and get both defense and shooting.

bam

......yeah, I can see that. I think Winslow is going to be better than Johnson for some reason, but they're very close. I think Johnson needs to play SF. He's like 240 lbs. We've already got mad max playing SF.

Hayward can play SG... obvi

I'd love a 3&D SF that can bang with the bigger perimeter players of the league like Melo, LeBron, etc.
