What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

Was super efficient. 20pts on 11 attempts.

What has impressed me so far most besides his dominating post game has been his passing and his ability to adjust in game to what the opponent does to him defensively. Against Virginia he was being double-teamed super aggressively and after a TO, he adjusted and was finding teammates around the perimeter and even inside the paint on every double team late in the game. He didn't force anything and played a great team game even though his scoring was limited.

I haven't completely given up on Winslow if we miss out on the top players. He could be a Tony Allen-like defender on the perimeter and he still has a lot of upside on offense.

Kelly Oubre with an off day--0/3, finishing with 1 pt.

I'm not sure, I missed the game. But twitter comments lead me to believe 1. Bill Self still has a short leash on the kid, and 2. Some guy named Greene got really hot and took his minutes.

Someone needs to tell me what Looney really does better than Lyles, tbh.

I want russell, then towns, then mudiay, then mario.

I don't have a horse in this race, but by the numbers (DX /per 40 pace adjusted):
rebounding
scoring
Asst/TO ratio
3pt %
steals
blocks

The difference in team quality probably causes the scoring difference, but I suspect rebounding, 3pt %, steals, blocks, Asst/TO ratio are probably not due to team differences.

I also suspect scouts are higher on Looney's physical profile than Lyles's, though I'm just speculating here.

He won't be skinny in 3 years. And it would be retarded to try and make him a SF, you'd be taking away the one thing he's elite at, rebounding.

Didn't really damage Kahwi Leonard to have him play SF full time, even though rebounding was his best attribute coming out.

DraftExpress has moved Hezonja up to #6..

Yeah, I think most of us saw that coming. Utah really needs to finish bottom 6, but bottom 8 might still work. If they drop to 10 or worse, I'm going to be bummed. Utah needs to catch a break or two in order to take the next step, otherwise we could be looking at another season similar to this one next year.
