Following potential 2015 draftees

Basketball reference goes back to the 97-98 season, and the answer to my question is that guys just don't have seasons like Russell is having. I searched all players, all classes, all conferences, and nobody has put up those numbers across the board like Russell - the elite 3pt shooting being what separates him. But even take out the three point shooting, only two guys have averaged 20, 6 and 5 over the last 17 years.

Jerryd Bayless probably had the most similar season his freshman year to what D'Angelo is doing this year. Although D'Angelo is just a little better all around performance.

I love how jazzzfanz covet the players we will never get. until I see the ping pong balls fall in our favor the jazz will draft in the 7-12 range. (here is hoping ford knows what he is talking about with stanley Johnson)

Mickey putting up good stats vs. a frontcourt of that will be picked in the top 10 of the draft.

16 points
7 rebounds
3 blocks

5. Myles Turner - ? Kansas maybe?
6. Rashad Vaughn - Kentucky
7. Stanley Johnson (SF) - Kentucky or AZ
8. Justin Jackson - ?
9. Kevin Looney - ?
10. Cliff Alexander (C) - Kansas
11. Kelly Oubre - Kansas
12. Trey Lyles - Kentucky

What do you think of Booker, PKM. Is he a lottery pick?

Russell is the biggest sure thing I've seen in probably 3 years

I like what I saw. If Hezonja can guard then he moves way up the board for me.

With him ability to defend is not in question. Focus and desire to defend are, but to be fair it seems like his effort has been pretty good lately, as evidenced by the increased minutes he's been getting.

I do think he will be good. I was not saying anything about his ability at the next level but that his season statistically has been most similar to Jerryd Bayless.

Although I would put Anthony Davis, Wiggins and Jahlil as more sure thing draft prospects going in to the draft, but thats just me.

If Jazz dont move into the top 3 I think I am on the Hezonja band wagon for the pick, if he is available. Seems to have the most potential to be a good combo with Hayward on the wing. Although he does seem a little riskier. Also that is assuming he plans on coming to the NBA next year.

If Jazz draft Hezonja, bring over tomic and Neto and keep Kanter we would be quite the foreign player team. Although I think it is unlikely we bring over either Neto or Tomic and odds are against us drafting Hezonja.

Same with Oubre. Its like were drafting kids or something!
