Following potential 2017 draftees...

They’re kicking in the door, but they’re shocked at what I’m telling them,” Ball said. “I said, ‘I’m not looking for no endorsement deal. I’m looking for a marketing and distribution deal.’ Branding. The only person doing that is [Michael] Jordan with Nike. That’s what we’re for. If Lonzo doesn’t sign with Adidas, Nike or Under Armour, guess what -- I’ll sign the Big Baller Brand. We already got our own brand. Triple Bs. Lonzo is going to be the first one drafted with his own brand. That don’t happen.”

LaVarr Ball is gonna be the Puff Daddy of 'the New NBA'. Lonzo being Biggie, LaMelo's probably Ma$e and Gelo's like Machine Gun Kelly

This story just keeps getting better. I'll buy a pair of Big Baller Brand shoes.

There was also this from a good source few days back..

Comments like this are why multiple NBA executives have told me they are concerned with Lonzo Ball's father. https://twitter.com/ironmikeluke/status/835611155301183492

Tatum with 15 and 9 and Issac with 8 and 8. A little underwhelming.

My boy Kennard with 17 and 6.

Cool Hand Luke's one of the most popular players in this thread. Was he your boy last year when he shot 32% from 3?!?

I was talking about him the way I talk about Kyle Guy this year (sort of; Guy's a PG/SG not a SG or CG like Kennard).. Or even UNC's Justin Jackson, what I've been saying about his 3pt% being anomalous for his FR and SO seasons..

Ya know I said long ago on this forum I think he'll be better than Redick and Grayson and I'm liking his chances more than ever.

I'm rather convinced that being biased towards lefties is a sound practice that runs true thru the years..

It seems like he got a lot of love last year. I've been pimping him all this year and said he was a first-rounder back when DX had him in the mid 30's.

Lol you try and boost your own ego and toot your own horn more than anybody on this site. That's the real reason why you stick around here. You want to try and feel better about yourself. Who gives a **** what you said or if you mentioned him first? Doesn't mean anyone else can't like him and doesn't mean anyone else can't like him more than you. You say tons of things about every prospect. I'm waiting for you to go back and start editing the 2015 draft thread here pretty soon.

Your message is "it doesn't matter til i see it" and mine is "hey guys this is cool check it out". Put all the window dressing on it you want, that's the bottom-line.

Who gives a ****? LOL. Thats how piss poor your (and Cy - see my Sig's) perspective is that you'd say that, in this thread which you're a regular in for years.... yet you can't even figure out why thats important/relevant... you back yourselves that far in a corner to try and make some flakey point, it's flimsly. The funny thing is y'all dedicate plenty of time to these topics, not as much as me.. but c'mon now.. you can't ******** me, even after all these years you don't know who your talking to.. I invite a full review and have always said that, lames here act like their 'pulling my card', I invite that..

I'm at fault for being prepared to talk about a wide-variety of topics here.. LOL this has been expressed many times many different ways over the years.

I'd liken my experience here at Jazzfanz to Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction. I'm not religious but I do like the Ezekiel 25:17 quote;

“Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." I been sayin' that **** for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ***. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a mother****er before you popped a cap in his ***. But I saw some **** this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. .45 here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous *** in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that **** ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin, Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

We all know y'all wish to run me out of here and then form a completely biased memory of what I brought to this forum. See my sig.

My continued posting here is a daring someone to call me out and the rebuttals have been weak, because my logic is sound. Cy doesn't even try and butt heads with me any more because I'll bludgeon him with the truth..

I stick around here to uphold the integrity of the forum.. to point out people who say stupid things like LaGerald Vick isn't a good prospect and Trey Burke is a better prospect than Dennis Schroder..

I'll edit my comments out of this dud of thread as well and it will be the same 5-10 people talking about the same 5-10 prospects..

LaGerald Vick won't even get drafted and won't even sniff the NBA. You can take that to the bank. Cy runs circles around you in any kind of basketball knowledge. I run circles around you in any kind of basketball knowledge. Literally the only thing you're good for is naming prospects before anyone else does then act like you're some draft god. Your takes are horrible dude I've called you out before many times about the ******** you've posted in the past. YOU HAD TO EDIT POSTS BECAUSE YOU WERE ASHAMED OF HOW WRONG YOU WERE. Do you not understand that? You do nothing for the forum besides contribute to this thread and even then you're an overrated "look-at-me" bitch.

Sigh, can't we get along? Everyone wants to feel important. All I know every year I start liking a hand full of players and they always seem to move up and out of our reach. (Justin Patton)

One of the things I am excited about is seeing who teams draft this year. I am seriously rooting for the Lakers to get the 4th pick so fill can put together a monster team. I would love to see them get faultz and monk

Faultz, Bayless, McConnell
Monk, stauskus
Anderson, Covington, luwawu
Simmons, static
Embiid, okafor, Holmes

That is a very solid team. If Simmons can develope a reliable 3pt shot they could be amazing in a few years.

They would never start Anderson over Covington.

Now let me explain Anderson is a defensive specialist that doesn't need to score. Faultz, monk, Simmons and embiid are all scores. Who ever plays the 3 won't get a lot of touches.

Covington comes in to anchor the second team with okafor, stauskus and saric

Covington is the better defender and shooter than Anderson....

Playing right now, but I'm recording- excited to see John Collins against the length and athleticism of L'ville tonight.

Have a feeling the streak of 20+ comes to an end tonight. Dude is human.

Nope and UL is throwing the kitchen sink at him.If I had to use one word to describe Collins it'd be Indomitable. 14 at the half on 6/9 from the field.

Just finished. Its if they plug him in and he goes out and gets 20 and 10. I think WF guards do as good a job of getting him the ball as any guards I've seen in college bball in years at dumping it into the post, but it's not nearly good enough. He simply can't be stopped. They were even doubling him off the ball. They threwb every big, long defender they had at him.

He's constantly running the floor, battling in the post to give the guards a target, his hands are as good as you'll ever see from a big, he hits the offensive glass, and when he gets it on the block he has everything in his arsenal.

Indomitable indeed.

How is the D tho?

i'd say mediocre. tonight he was excellent on defense. it helped that he was never in foul trouble so was able to be more aggressive contesting shots, etc. he has to be careful there because they need him in the game. I've seen him in nearly every game of the 12 straight 20+ games and when teams attack him, i've seen him struggle. better help defender than defending his own guy. great defensive rebounder. he commits some dumb fouls at times, but i think overall he's a pretty smart defensive player. in terms of improving defensively, he probably needs to get a little stronger more than anything.

Does WF play man or zone?
