Following potential 2017 draftees...

From Chad Ford's recent article about the combine.

Teams are waiting with a lot of anticipation for Harry Giles' medical reports to come back. I talked to a number of NBA executives who said if he's totally cleared by their medical staff, he could move in the Nos. 5-10 range of the draft.

"He's the best prospect in the entire draft if he can fully recover and stay healthy," one NBA executive said. "He's just a freaky talent."
Those are big ifs, but talk of him sliding out of the lottery doesn't seem realistic unless he gets red-flagged during the Saturday medicals.

As an aside, DX has DSJ mocked at 9, but I think he goes top 5 or 6 on draft night.

Looks like you are going be beyond wrong here PGAB

Harry Giles will go #1 in 2017

Thon Maker's age is questionable btw... he doesn't look 97 born
Good article that might support what Catchall is saying (to an extent). Talks about how Kurucs got to play in a worse division let him have a bigger role and try more things than he would if he played in the bigger leagues.

This is another good article linked to the one you posted. His game is a work in progress. He may well end up being 6'9" or more making him really big (maybe too big?) for a wing. He could end up being a draft-and-stash player so he can develop more physically.

I disagree with Chad Ford here. This is a deep class with no clear cut number one but 3 or 4 players worthy of being the first pick. And it's fantasy to say if he didn't have the injuries because for one he has had multiple injuries and that what if game scenario could be applied to countless other players. I find the what if game to be beyond silly

Lol,is LeBron or Durant to big to play at the wing position? This was the
Silliest comment I have read today Catchall. Do you watch bball even or just follow it on here and the radio?

Iwundu looks great, but man has he done nothing these two scrimmages. Not nearly aggressive enough going to the rim and some of his lob pass attempts have been pitifully bad.

Kurucs has to maintain his quickness if he's going to be a wing in the NBA. He's not exactly the athlete that Lebron or KD are. Dario Saric's best position now appears to be PF. Whereas, he was considered an SF around the time he was drafted. Similar situation.

Frank Jackson Combine:
- Lane Agility: 11.47 (8th)
- Shuttle: 2.70 (2nd)
- Sprint: 3.14 (5th)
- Stand Vert: 35.5 (T2nd)
- Max Vert: 42 (2nd)

Bam Adebayo with the 38.5" max vertical at 6'10"/243 lbs. His measurables are comparable to Dwight Howard and Derrick Favors. Just missing a half inch in height and an inch or two in standing reach. It wouldn't take much development for him to become an impact player.

As much as people are gawking at Ike Anigbogu, Bam is really a pretty comparable beast. Granted, Ike is a year younger.

Semi Ojeleye's 40" vertical is really impressive, considering he's built like a Mack truck.

Impressive vertical for Cameron Oliver as well.

Wow. Great showing, though not surprising.

Also, Cy, i appreciate the commentary on the combine.

Chad Ford is saying that DJ Wilson's feedback from NBA workouts has been positive. However, I think the only team Wilson worked out for so far is the Jazz, meaning the Jazz gave him positive feedback. Am looking to see if he worked out for other teams.

Ford now has Wilson at #27 on his big board.

Vincent Ellis: Michigan’s D.J. Wilson says he interviewed with the #Pistons. Injured quad on 1st day of workouts with #Spurs. Also worked out for #Jazz. – via Twitter Vincent_Ellis56
