Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Did it hurt? Enes Kanter got a max contract. Dante Exum suffered, but that is more a function of tearing his ACL in his 2nd year. He had a relatively successful rookie year being a starter.

All signs point to sitting out a year, as long as your a top rated prospect, actually raises your stock.

Mitchell is measured as a true 7' with a 7'4 wingspan and top level athletic ability. I dont think him sitting out a year takes him out of the lottery, and best case, it actually raises his stock if some of the other top big man prospects struggle or get injured.

If I had to bet between sitting out or playing for a mid-major.. I'd sit out (only speaking draft stock).

I feel like we need Robert Williams or Kevin Knox in this draft, then we could be pretty set. We'd need a pick in the 7 - 11 range.

I kind of like the idea of drafting a big 3 and have them play the 4 like vanderbilt, Hachimura or Akot

or even Miles Bridges

Justin Jackson falls into this category also

I like both players but neither can shoot the 3 ball very well. Jaren JAckson Jr is a much better pick

Knox can shoot, and I think he'll be able to stretch his range out some more. Keep in mind that he's only 17.

I have a hard time getting excited about Jaren Jackson Jr. Just seems like an average athlete and plays mostly below the rim.

I like Bridges and am cautiously optimistic on Hachimura.

My thoughts on Jackson also but he has a beautiful stroke
