It's a weakness. If you are below average at anything, it's a weakness. This isnt hard to understand.

Lopo, you said some stupid ****. You said Donte D had no weaknesses. Every prospect in the history of a NBA draft has weaknesses. You got your panties in a bunch when we pointed them out. Now you are doing some epic mental gymnastics to prove your orignial terrible stance. Just admit you were wrong and move on.

Or you can just drop it since it's abundantly clear he has lost this one.
 
Size is a weakness for Donte D. Not sure why anyone would argue otherwise. Every prospect has weaknesses. The question is can they overcome the weaknesses they have. I think Donte D can overcome his weaknesses.

Hey if this is just gonna turn into a nobody admits they were wrong thing (even though it’s clear that one person was) and we all just stop talking about it. That’s fine. But for the record, from a persuasion standpoint the point does not stand at all. You brought up two examples and both were proven factually false. From a neutral observer standpoint that doesn’t help your case much. In fact you haven’t given a single example of a player who is successful with DD’s measurements. And it wouldn’t even be surprising if there was one! Having a weakness does not mean that a player can’t be successful.

But it has done more harm than good that you can’t bring up a factual example of a similar player. And even more harm that the two ‘go to’ guys you gave as comparisons weren’t really good comparisons at all. Which means you may be working with incorrect assumptions in your head when giving your scouting report

Short version: based on what you have said, and as someone who doesn’t really do much scouting himself, I’ve never been lower on DD’s potential than this very moment.


Just saying.
