Curious to why KBD seems like he’s dropping a little? Earlier I would have been excited to see him available at 21.
Love Mikal- pure shooter, great length, versatile defender- prettiest jumper in the draft, imo.
Having said that not sure i could pass on okobo at 11. I'd consider okobo as early as 7 and I'd have some reservations about passing on him at 5.
In terms of mocks, Miles might be one of the most overrated in the draft. Probably wouldn't take him at 21.
I think this board is going to be extremely happy if we end up with Okobo.
I really like him because I’d be surprised if he couldn’t give 15 decent offensive minutes as an NBA player. And that’s a floor level projection.
That’s rare where we are drafting.
I don’t know and I don’t care.Well Rodney Hood was decent for a while... wasn't he picked #21?
Agreed. Was super impressed by him. I think Cy posted a video a few days ago.
It would depend on who drops... kind of hard to predict. I wonder if Isaac Bonga will be there in the second? Arnoldas Kulboka? Metu, Spelman? Vanderbilt? Kevin Harvey? There is a ton of wings that might fall too.Are there any players you guys are really interested in for the Jazz at 52? Or in the second round in general? Right now my favorite second round guy is Gary Clark. I like him a lot. I'm also intrigued by Rawle Alkins and Penava. Somewhat intrigued by Wenyen Gabriel just because he's so young still.
Yes, I think one of the reasons he dropped that far is that he was essentially a 3yr college player (having sat out one season after transferring) and was viewed as having limited upside. GM's love the 19yr old players who can jump out of the gym.Well Rodney Hood was decent for a while... wasn't he picked #21?
Hill played at IUPUIComing out of college Hill was a scorer. He changed his game a decent amount in SA.
You'd hate him if you actually watched him. One of the softest players in the draft. Knee injury history, high hips, and too skinny.Hervey. Dude can legit shoot the 3 and looks natural as hell doing so, not just catch and shoot either. Has great length. I’ve read he’s gotten in better shape. I also love small school guys because they’ve not been coddled their whole lives and I feel like will have a bigger chip on their shoulders and bust their ***. I really think he could be an above average starting 4 in the league.
I’ve heard the soft comments. While I do think it’s tough to teach someone to be aggressive and play tougher, I do think it’s possible. To a degree. I think we have a core of guys here too (especially if we keep Sef) who can bring that out in him. So that’s not a huge concern for me. Especially given his great length which can help overcome some of that. You'd hate him if you actually watched him. One of the softest players in the draft.
