Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Actually think Team Lazare has the best team. Pettiford/Sanders/Small are three good playmakers and they have two 7'ers in Yanic and Godlin to go along with a scorers like Sallis and Dixon.

He’s really high on his burst and frame. Says he’s not like RWB in terms of first step, but he has good burst and deceleration. Combining that with his good frame+body control gives him potential on both ends. Admits that the shooting is a big question mark.

I haven’t watched much Saraf film, but the disagreement I see with his statements vs consensus is that he really values his frame and burst whereas the consensus doesn’t think he’s very athletic. Will have to look at the film myself. I’ve watched very little, but the potential for this being a white guy situation is there.
biggest thing with saraf for me is that he's incredibly productive having playing the entire season at 18 in the top german league. most sure thing in the draft is a productive teenager at the highest levels of pro ball in europe. and he's a big PG. i almost don't care about anything else.

This is one of those things where I'm not quite sure how to evaluate. German League is Eurocup isn't the highest level, but it's still pro ball. I guess I'd say that it's hard to agree or disagree with the things JE was saying without watching a lot film. The shooting numbers are what they are, which are not great, but besides that he looks fine on paper. I just don't know how to evaluate his athleticism and burst right now because opinions I've seen are conflicting on that. I do think focusing on things like physical strength and deceleration is something we should do more than dunk contest athleticism.

i just meant it's the top german league. similarly traore is playing in the top french league, etc. but mainly just that he's playing with and against 25-35 year olds who have played in the nba, were really good college players, etc. and not just playing but starring - leading his team in assists and second in scoring. at 18.
