Lets also remember that Kanter is three years YOUNGER then your precious Kenneth Faried, not to mention much larger.

He's also a year younger and much larger than Tristan Thompson.

We will see how Jonas does but I don't expect much, when has a skinny euro center done much in the NBA? Not to mention he has no offensive post game at all.

Remember Kanter played no college basketball and didn't play competitively for quite some time. Also remember how long it took Bynum to develop, which I think is a good bar to watch Kanters growth.

Enes has already proven to be an elite rebounder and capable defender. Once his outside shot starts falling and he understands more how to use his strength he will be a top big man in the league.

This thread was made especially for BluesRocker I assume??!!

Farried is a manimal, I'm not disputing that. But if we're looking the 'ceiling' then I'm liking Kanter's ceiling much more.

Farried can be that 'energy guy' for your team, but Kanter has the potential to be come a pretty good two-way player in this league if developed properly. I'd still take Kanter - hands down, on the ground.

:)

Couldnt I just show you a bunch of clips where is is sucking, "lowlights"?

I havent said I dont like him.

And by the way, why did you make a seperate thread to address me?

The Faried part was for you but mostly for all the guys crying about Kanter in the summer league game today....you know the one where he had a double double by the third quarter..

Maybe so, but Faried is already a player. As they say one in the hand is worth two in the bush. I haven't Jonas play much but from what I've seen he's better than Enes at this stage. That's what I keep saying in all my replies. We're going on Enes's potential and the reason I'm down on him is because I haven't seen enough improvement in his play this summer to give me confidence that he will reach that potential. I also would be higher on him if he was quicker and had more lift on his jump. With Favors, his potential is obvious to everyone, but not so with Enes. Yes, he's big and strong; he could be a beast as a lineman in the NFL, but in the NBA ???

in three years do you think Kanter will be better than Faried?

Faried's ceiling is Paul Milsap. We have Paul Milsap. We don't have anything like Kanter can become. That is really rare.

Bynum sure does bite on that up and under move. Even the rookies in the summer league have been adjusting after 1-2 times.

It's always nice when rookie [Colorado Rockies] pitchers blow the veteran hitters away, but the veterans always adjust and it's bad news after that.

Remember Bynum schooling Shaq? Remember any times after that?

Kanter= Jefferson?

If Kanter could develop the offensive game of Jefferson, and keep developing like he is Defensively, every team in the league would covet him and he would likely be the best player of the 2011 draft. A bull strong Al Jefferson that plays bruising D is a better player than Dwight Howard.

At worst Kanter is like a 10-10 guy, his upside is to high for us to be complaining about drafting him 3rd especially with the lack of talent in the 2011 draft anyways
