For those of you BYU pukes cheering Jimmer...

Is there something cathartic in your posting of a thread on which you want only the elite and qualified to post? It's good that you can start "your own thread" in a public forum unbesmirched by the Banged-On gang with their breaching of the topic which shall not be named, lest yet another immaculate thread arise.

I was watching the game with 3 Jimmer lovers - which I am not. They tried real hard to make it a foul or block in how they explained the air ball. Funny how they didn't mention Cousins moving screen and Jimmers very well executed nudge to push Earl into the screen. I thought Jimmer played well but he didn't get fouled on the last shot. Great miss though.

I don't know what you're trying to say, and I don't think you do either, but that was funny.

The children are upset that I belittled their off-topic disagreement thread. Apparently they'd rather argue about something that won't change anyone's mind. I'd rather talk about Jazz basketball.

And 'bangin on' is probably something you guys never do, since you seem more concerned with the camaraderie than the actual point of this website.

Yeah, but did it reach the level of Jimmermania at the ESA tonight? I suspect that if he had made that shot the crowd would have erupted in cheers. If true (and we'll never know) that's going a little too far IMHO.

In any case, it seems pretty clear where many people's tribal loyalties lie tonight. BYU/LDS tribe > Jazz tribe.

I was at the game. The Jimmer love was quite annoying. I don't mind the little kids or die hard BYU fans but some people were just there to be annoying.

I remember when we played Indianna @ Indianna for the first time the crowd for Gordon. They exploded into cheer when he dunked on George. It's showing appreciation for the dude for what he did for the state's collegiate athletics. Stop being a prick OP.
Repped.
Stop using common sense.

Not sure, I watched the game on NBA TV and for most the game they had the announcers way high in the mix and I could barely hear any crowd noise. The state of Utah is much more connected to BYU than the state of Indiana is to Butler, so yeah, it probably wasn't as bad. The crowd did explode when he gave one of their players a facial, which I would be pretty pissed about if I was George.

Utah Jazz. Not Devin Harris, Enes Kanter, Gordon Hayward, Carlos Arroyo, Mehmet Okur, Andrei Kirilenko, and most certainly not a guy on the other team.

funny, thought he would have told you to get banged on

Right? It's so catching on.......I just took my trash out and told my neighbor to get banged on. Its a nice thing to say, right? That's how we're using it? "Good morning", "Morning to you, hope you got banged on this weekend....". Am I using it right?

What thread are you even talking about? Must be one hell of a thread to get you so close to tears.

Hey Numerica, cry harder.

That's not possible

It always amuses me how the BYU/Mormon haters come out. Doesn't bother me. I enjoyed my time at BYU. I don't want the drunk life, never will.
You can have it, doesn't offend me.
BYU is not for everyone, so I am fine if you don't want to go there.
I wish there was a lid on the Provo area. Place is getting crowded.
