Nash's recruiting begins. It looks like he is going to attempt to recruit Grant Hill to join the Lakers. Also. there is speculation that the trade for Nash might cause Howard to reconsider the Lakers. I hate the Lakers so much... I hate them.

I will be mad if Grant Hill goes to LA. It would be messed to see my two favorite active non-Jazz players both go to the Lakers in the same summer.

Crawford, an unrestricted free agent who opted out of his $5.2 million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, has been offered a spot by the Clippers. He is expected to sign a three-year, $15.7 million contract, according to the executives

Billups, who played in just 20 games last season with the Clippers before suffering a season-ending left Achilles tendon surgery, will sign a one-year deal that could be worth up to $4.3 million if he reaches bonuses, the executives said.

With Billups returning and Crawford coming to the Clippers, the Clippers cancelled a planned visit by Ray Allen.
 
I'm interested to see where Ray Allen ends up. The signing of Terry makes me think he'd be more open to Boston, but if titles is what he's after, he would still be better of joining the Heat.

David Aldridge: Rockets are telling people they're guaranteed future Lottery pick from Toronto in Lowry deal tho it's unclear how that happens

Also, Adrian Wojnarowski says the Rockets and Raptors are working on something "innovative" in regards to protection on the pick that Houston gets. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
 
This is interesting: The Rockets are going to meet with Aaron Brooks since there's a good chance the Knicks will match any offer sheet that Jeremy Lin signs. If Brooks went back to Houston, that would just be strange now that Dragic is going back to Phoenix. My how things can change in 17 months.
