Free Agency 2012 Thread

This makes a little more sense. I hope this happens... then Dwight bolts the Lakers.

Dwight is a much better pairing for Gasol than Bynum. That team has potential for 65 wins with him. If they find a dump for MWP and/or can get one of Houston's PFs they are going to look even better. Watch Jackson suddenly reappear. All that guy has to do is crook his little finger and there's his next star laden lineup to keep shoveling success with.

I am very suspicious that if Dwight goes to LA Jackson will return. If he does Howard will extend.

I hate the fact that I can see this happening as well.

The Suns put in the highest bid for Scoka on amnesty waivers. To make room on the payroll they used the amnesty clause on Josh Childress.

On a side note to this, I'm really glad Childress went to the Suns instead of the Jazz when he came back from Greece. I know the Jazz went after him.

According to Sam Amick, Aaron Brooks is going to the Kings: As @Thirty2zero - free agent point guard Aaron Brooks - just tweeted, source confirms he has agreed to sign with the Kings.

I'm sure part of the high value of Humphries' contract is to make up for only offering him a 1-year deal last year, and the fact that New Jersey really needed to re-sign him because of not having many other options for a double-double guy.
