Oh my!
Favors at $12M is looking like the deal of the century.

Makes me like him even more. And quite frankly, I'm glad the deal with Cleveland didn't go anywhere. I'm very confident that Favors, Burks and Exum is better than just Wiggins or Parker.

Well, that was before we knew Exum would be available.

But yeah, after listening to the interview with Exum and Hood, and hearing Favors has been practicing with the summer league team...I'm glad everything worked out as it did.

Also, dont the suns have bledsoe AND dragic? Wtf?

I wonder if the Suns are going to trade one or the other? Dragic is a FA soon and Bledsoe was hurt a lot last year. They could probably get something decent back for either of them. Thomas is a dynamic scorer, but doesn't offer much in defense. It'll be interesting to see how they use him.

I'd take IT at that salary over maxing Bledsoe. If that's what just happened. How did the Kings not match that though.....that's not even a bad deal.

In 2 years Suns may have a backcourt of Dragic, Bledsoe, Bogdanovic, Thomas and Ennis. Bogdanovic and Ennis would be on their rookie contracts. They are slowly building a very solid team.

Chris Bosh jilts the Rockets and stays with the Heat. Talk about a major screw-over for Houston.

They're not getting Carmello, and there's not another max player on the market that isn't protected by RFA. They might be able to S&T for Greg Monroe or Eric Bledsoe, but I honestly think that's highly unlikely. Their best bet now is to match Parsons and field the same team they had last year minus Lin and Asik.

They got a pick for Asik, but gave one away to get rid of Lin. It's awesome to see this whole thing blow up in their faces so bad. Maybe they go for a 2nd tier guy before they match on Parsons, but they'd be better off preserving their limited cap space for a better run next year. They totally screwed the pooch by making Parsons a RFA. Even worse miscalculation that the Jazz on Gordon Hayward.

Houston doesn't have cap space next year: Parsons $15M, Dwight $22M, Harden $16M = $53M. Add to that a cap hold of $5M for Beverly and $4M for remaining roster spots and you're at $62M. With projected cap at $66M that's not a lot and requires shipping away everyone.

Weird overloaded backcourt. Don't forget Gerald Green in the mix.

Weird. Kings were reportedly offering $5-$6M and wanted IT as a backup. IT reportedly wanted $8M (Avery Bradley money). He accepts <$7M to be a backup in Phoenix. Guess bridges were burned in Sacramento. Or IT realized he could be playing for Ty Corbin by the end of his contract.

Maybe they've decided to trade Dragic or let Bledsoe go.

Everyone said the dominoes would fall once LBJ made up his mind. This is now kind of fun. Wonder when 'Melo will announce.
