Houston doesn't have cap space next year: Parsons $15M, Dwight $22M, Harden $16M = $53M. Add to that a cap hold of $5M for Beverly and $4M for remaining roster spots and you're at $62M. With projected cap at $66M that's not a lot and requires shipping away everyone.
Yeah. They're toast. They needed to add a max guy now and match Parsons deal. James, Bosh or Anthony. One of those guys or bust. Should have just kept Lin and Parsons on his RFA tender and then tried to maximize whatever else they could out of their assets at the deadline.

Everyone said the dominoes would fall once LBJ made up his mind. This is now kind of fun. Wonder when 'Melo will announce.

I wonder what Deng and Ariza get in this market. Guys need to get paid ASAP before the money runs out. This has been fun. Watching the Rockets mess has been awesome.

Maybe they've decided to trade Dragic or let Bledsoe go.

They may. I don't know how they fare financially but I don't think they have a bad contract right now. They may max Dragic and pay Bledsoe and bring in a good center. That team would contend.

Funniest Tweet of the day so far when they heard about the Bosh deal
Miami you shouldn't make decisions about player contracts when your angry
I think Pat Riley's hair gel boiled when he got Lebron's news today. He couldn't think clearly after that.

Lol to you guys who didn't want to give Bosh a 4-year 88 mil deal.
That would have been horrible.

Look up bosh averages from last years finals... post them here..... get at me dog

Bosh gonna struggle without lbj

Why would Phoenix pay Thomas seven million a year when they already have Dragic and Bledsoe and Ennis? There is only one ball.

And because Thomas is a steal at that price... Figure fit out later... That contract is an asset.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner. Thomas now becomes a tradable asset for the Suns....or he makes it possible for them to trade other assets.

Meanwhile in Jazzland.....nothing is happening. They haven't even announced a trade since yesterday.

You can't trade Thomas right away. Yes, I guess they could have signed him for insurance if Bledsoe or Dragic want too much money but I thought the Suns were high on both guys.
