Game #10 : Lakers at Utah, Wednesday 01/11/2012 7:00 PM MST

Geez, guys. I hate to lose to the lakers too, but a lot of plays just didnd't go our way.

If hating Jefferson makes you feel better......trust me, it won't.

And not everything was Al's fault. Millsap did'dnt come up with some rebounds that he should have.

It is not about hating jefferson. He can go out tomorrow and score 40, it doesnt change anything about him. Today he isnt the worse player in the league and he wasnt the best player yesterday when scored 30 against cavs. He is always the same guy that we know and he wont have any revelation and become a superstar anymore as some people hoped before the season started.

I always say the same thing even long before seasons started, and some people called me kanter homer just because of that, but this is the naked truth, Big Al isn't one of the guys who really helps the team win. He just helps himself, making shots, playing one on one, makes some tough shots to look good, have 20 10 stats and people think he is one of the precious stones you can never find. Indeed, he is just another Boozer, he would never be a main guy in a contender, never ever.

Harris and Ty are ****ing garbage.

Not a single point in OT was by design. Ty had no clue what to do and didn't get any of our players on the same page.

If Al sits and Kanter/Favors get his minutes, we win this game.

Agreed. Big Al clearly didnt have it tonight, and still Corbin stuck with him. Sap was on, and Big Al was not.
You put Kanter or Favors in there with Sap to close this out. Gives us the best chance to win a close tired slugfest, and gives
the young bigs valuable experience.

If I have to blame anyone, I'm putting this one on Ty.
15 seconds left and a chance to win the game and he doesn't call timeout. Obviously that philosophy worked with Jerry but in those times we always had a clear plan that every person on the floor knew (get the ball in your PG's hands, push it, and if a transition opportunity isn't there then run high-screenroll). It was apparent from the start we were completely out of sync on that last possession and even after we looked into Millsap (who was pushed way out on the wing by Gasol) we still should've called TO before Hayward was left to go 1-on-1. With the shotclock running down on possessions we don't execute and we don't have a good gameplan on what to do, until we get everyone on the same page Ty needs to take TO's in those situations.

As far as Al giving up the offensive rebound to Bynum, he left Bynum to help on Kobe (who would've had an 8-foot pullup jumper otherwise) and forced Bryant to take an extremely difficult fallaway. Al was putrid on the offensive end, but I don't blame him on that play.

We shot 38% from the floor. Zone defense still gives us fits.

Hayward 1-7
Harris 1-7
Watson 0-4
CJ 2-6
Burks 1-4
Al 5-17

Rebounds were even
Jazz only had 11 turnovers, Lakers 17

We held the lakers to 12 points in the 4th quarter

A timeout should have been called on the last play. The team looked lost and you had Hayward trying to create something. Not good.

Yep. I guarantee the Lakers don't get all those "lucky" second chance offensive rebounds near the end with Favors or Kanter in.

Isn't this Ty's second Overtime game in his career??

If theres one thing Ive noticed over the course of this season, it's how much Ty has strived to improve the weaknesses of this team. I guarantee you he will analyze this games tape a strong about of times, just so were a lot more prepared in our next overtime again. Sucks to lose like this, especially when were 4 up with a min left.

we have some pretty horrible guard play. outside of his passing, Hayward really has to figure something out fast. his shooting is CJ miles bad and he can't finish anything at the hoop.

People were acting like AJ was league MVP yesterday. Now he's the worst player ever. That's just DutchJazzer level of simple-mindedness.

But in all seriousness, this one is on Corbin. Terrible decisions all around. It doesn't take a genius to realize that if one of your fat players is shooting 20% and can hardly move anymore, it's time to give him some rest.

Both teams shot terribly. This is why it's a superstar driven league. On these kind of nights your superstar carries you.

You can't blame Al, Harris, Hayward, or Bell for this. This is on MK11. How were they supposed to win a game that was jinxed?

You've solved the problem! All these years, and the answer was right there all along. We should just jinx every team that plays the Jazz, and then we will never lose because there is indeed such a thing as jinxing, right? I'll be glad to do it if you who are blaming MK11 can show me how since you obviously knew this would happen. You recognized the jinx before it happened. Amazing!

Man, I cannot WAIT until Kanter and Favors grow up. I am ****ing sick and tired of having our frontcourt being out rebounded on key possessions to the ****ing Lakers. Gods, I hate losing to this team more than anything.
