Game #11 Toronto Raptors at Utah Jazz Wednesday 18 Nov 2015 @ 7:00pm Mtn

Does anybody else notice that Burks is like in a whole other universe. Everybody was lost and he just went to work like it was no big deal.

He was doing really bad before the goal tend. I couldn't tell on my feed if that was the right call. Started 0-6, ended 5-6 plus 2 FT.

Really? I thought when Quin brought him in for Rudy he made them both?
Pretty sure he missed one. I could be wrong though.
I was trying to play fetch with my dog while watching the game at the same time

Noticed Dante on the bench tonight too.

I'm still holding out small hope that he recovers quickly and is able to play in April and take Neto's minutes for the playoffs. If healing goes well, he could very well be physically ready by then.

His first half was the worst he has played so far this year. Bad defense, couldn't hit a shot, poor decision making, etc

I think he has been fantastic this year..... But he went 1-2 from the line at the end tonight.

In all fairness he literally came right off the bench and went directly to the FT line after an immediate foul. I was not surprised at all he missed the first shot.

True

PS. For those who complain about our bench - Toronto's bench is awful. It's like eight deep - Joseph, Biyombo, Ross.

I doubt the Jazz would take the risk. I kinda doubly we'll see him until preseason.

It was a pretty frustrating win. Lol. But yes, loss would have been much worse.

There were 2 stretches of really good Bball for the Jazz. The 8 point run off the timeout, then the Burks jumper to take the lead and the pick and roll finish by Favors. Those 13 points were huge. The rest was just ugly grind it out basketball.

Yeah. That 3rd quarter was terrible. I think we got lucky too. Scola was hitting everything but other than that The Raptors couldn't hit a 3 to save their lives. They had way too many open looks. Good ball movement. Their post D was really good, too. In fact all of their D was pretty good.

You're not wrong but you're looking at it from only one side. The real story is the Jazz absolutely killed on defense. Some of the switches/rotations from the mid third and entire 4th quarter were a thing of beauty to behold.

It's a shame the DeRozen slam will be the one thing everyone sees from this game.

Gobert led the team with 38 min. but only had 5 REB.

Favors was 7-9 FG and 4-7 FT. 11 REB.

Hood had more REB than Gobert and led the team in AST. He also was 5-10, 2-4, and 4-4.

Favors played 31 min. Is Quin saving him for our championship run in 3 years?
