I loved seeing Hayward attack the rim, and he is a huge help to our team when it comes to breaking a press because he'll attack it and we get easy buckets from it. Fun to watch. Jefferson and Millsap, don't even need to say anything cause they're good. I love how Corbin is using our big men in this offense, it's clear to see they are our focus. Playing team ball right now, with our main identity being our defense and our big men. We're gonna have one hell of a team in the future. Heck...we have a pretty dang good team right now.

Fantastic game...best all around performance by the Jazz this year. We shared the ball, good shot selection, and we were aggressive going to the hole (despite the lack of calls). We played great defense like we have all season, crisp rotations, good help defense, I'm very impressed with this team.

I think it's safe to say this team may be as good as our WCF teams from a few years ago. We aren't as good offensively, but what we lack we make up with much improved defense. A solid portion of that credit has to go to Ty for changing the defensive system. Could be our roster, but it seems like a MUCH better system for the way basketball is being played in the NBA. I've read that Jerry Sloan and Stan Van Gundy were the only coaches in the NBA to force the ball into the middle, every other team/coach forces baseline. I think we're a few years away from being real contenders, but we're going to give someone absolute hell in the first round of the playoffs. We may be this years Memphis Grizzlies, who knows.

Any word on Favors' ankle? We should sign OSTERTAG to a 10 day contract if Favors is out. That would be my dream come true.

We would have to see some rapid development from Favors, Hayward, Burks, and Kanter for us to be a real playoff contender.

Easily the best game by Utah this season. I thought everyone played well tonight.

Denver clearly didn't get the memo - after their win against The Heat on Friday walked in tonight thinking this game would be a cake-walk.

I'd hope, but I don't think they're there yet. That team had Boozer playing like an absolute beast and better than anyone on the roster currently and Deron was budding into a true superstar. I was hoping this year for us would be like Deron's rookie year by not having a ton of success, but nice looking pieces. Then next year take off.

Lets not forget Corbin's skill as a coach in this game

a) great rotations, and limited the playing of our starters yesterday so we would have energy tonight
b) took a key timeout in the 2nd quarter when Denver was making a run (they were 8-0, up 6 points), and then the Jazz took away the defecit in the last 2 minutes before half-time

Great game for everyone, including the coaching staff. Our team seems to be having amazing chemistry

He came back in after he initially hurt it. It will be sore tomorrow; but I can't imagine it's that bad.

Sprained ankle's don't really hurt that bad after you initially hurt them. It's when the swelling starts is when the pain sets in.
